Ranieri said the same about Carlton Cole. Now, its easy to say Carlton Cole is shit and was all hype, also you may say Ranieri is crap of a manager cus he didnt win anything inspite of spending millions. But at that time we did have high hopes on Carlton Cole.

Bolton is Crap.!! Arsenal will beat Man Utd and Liverpool as both are in Terrible form. We have to beat them though. Not sure about Villa. Perhaps a Draw against Villa wil do good to us. Birmingham at home will show us whether we really are back to our best. They are on a 12 game unbeaten streak. We should be able to spank Buernley and Hull. Arsenal is the form team and We have to beat them to make a 6 point gap between us and them.

On what basis is he a top signing? just cus he has the potential that has been unproven at the highest level. 3 games isnt enough to put him in the bracket of top signings. But fair enough if he is a top signing for you......

Aww...Thats sweet. Nice Video though!!

Is she your daughter?

Hmmm...if this thread has started in September 2008. You'd be including Deco too in that. Top signings are those that have been of real value to the club and have put in great performances. Kakuta hasnt even played more than 3 games.

When Drogba comes back, We will have This. -----------------------------------Cech-------------------------------------- Ivanovic-------------Carvalho---------Terry-------------------------A.Cole -------------Ballack-----------Mikel/Belleti----------Lampard -----------------------Joe Cole---------Anelka ---------------------------------Drogba Joe Cole and Anelka will operate in the hole might go wide to make it 4-3-3 or operater through the middle. If Not for Joe Cole then Malouda takes the place behind Drogba along with Anelka.

Essien to return to Cobham following injury
warnie_666 replied to Rubber bullets's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Ghana doctors are said to believe it will keep him out for at least a month, with reports in respected French newspaper L'Equipe claiming there were fears he had damaged ligaments. Scans are reported to show that Essien has suffered a partially torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee and damage to his meniscus. Ghana and NAC Breda striker Matthew Amoah said: 'This is a big blow because Michael is so important to our team. We've lost the motor in our midfield, and this is very bad.' I am glad, Ancelloti is flexible in his formation. We play 4-3-3 in attck and 4-3-2-1 in defense. Also, we can play the Diamond which i think will be used in Champions League Games. Last season the reason for Scolari's boot was his unwillingness to change the formation or tweak things and no men on posts. Also, the fact that Ancelloti enjoys a good rapport with our players is something worth taking note of specially when we had a string of bad results in december.

Essien to return to Cobham following injury
warnie_666 replied to Rubber bullets's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
reports suggest atleast 1 month -
That was exactly my thought. It was a fluid Christmas Tree formation hence you could see Malouda in the middle of the pitch when he scored that goal else he would have been operating on the left wing. Same with Joe Cole, playing behind Anelka.

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5867711,00.html Lampard celebrates FWA tribute Chelsea star hailed by football writers Last updated: 17th January 2010 Lampard: Has enjoyed a brilliant career Related links Teams Chelsea Players Frank Lampard Also see Sky Sports expertsTransfer CentreFantasy FootballSky Sports TwitterChelsea midfielder Frank Lampard said he has plenty more to offer on the night he was honoured with the Football Writers' Association's Tribute award. Lampard, 31, has experienced a huge amount of success during his 14-year professional career but he admits it came as a surprise to win the award before his playing days had ended. The England midfielder was recognised by the FWA as he received the annual award at an event at London's Lancaster Hotel. Lampard started his career at West Ham under the tutelage of his father Frank Lampard Snrbefore moving to Chelsea in 2001 for £11million. He has since gone on to win eight trophies - including two Barclays Premier League titles and two FA Cups - and has also won 76 caps for his country. Previous winners of the award include Bobby Moore, Sir Alex Ferguson and Alan Shearer. "It's unexpected for me, I'm not quite getting towards the end of my career yet but I'm very proud of what I've achieved and to get recognition for what I've achieved from the FWA is a huge thing," said Lampard, who scored twice in Chelsea's 7-2 win over Sunderland on Saturday. "The football writers are so hard to please. They see us every week. They are the critics of football and I'm very proud that they have seen me in this light. "I'm really enjoying my football at the moment. You get to 31 and you know you are past the middle part of your career now and I just want to make it last as long as you can." Last year's winner, Harry Redknapp, paid tribute to Lampard on the night while former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho took time out to write a glowing account of his time spent with the midfielder at Stamford Bridge. "I am so proud to have worked with such a man," said the Inter Milan boss. "When I am asked who are the best players I have worked with, I will always say that Frank Lampard is amongst the greatest. "Not because he has been successful but because he is driven every day to become better."

Where the fuck are all the boo boys who wanted Ancelloti's head.
-
Well if you wanna set some standards for the kid set them high. I hope he is as good as Anelka sounds better.

Terminator X: "this guy has accumulated 2 posts and like your hair will never be seen again. my response was merely suggesting his triumphant return will be no second coming."

All Thank Avram for signing him.

Bos and Deco back in training
warnie_666 replied to millzy_chelsea_fan's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
With Bosingwa we will be a much more attcking outfit and more goalswill be scored. But Iva has been outstanding defensively. -
Did anyone read Arnesen views on Stoch? He mentioned that there were English Clubs offering to loan him but seeing his game is more technical than physical he was loaned to a club in Dutch league which is less physical and more technical. That concerns me a bit. It is like he is doing well in a league that suits hsi game and Arnsen has seen this. Also, is it an indication that Arnesen doesnt see him making a cut in a more physical league like the Premier League?

Nemanja Matic the man to fill the holding role at Chelsea
warnie_666 replied to EskWeston's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Ancelloti is trying to mould him into a holding Midfield Player. I am guessing by that he means, a more Pirlo, Alonso like rather than Makalele or Gattuso type. Ancelloti converted Pirlo from an Attack Midfielder to a Defensive Playmaker who sprays the passes from the bottom of the midfield..And I bet he is doing the same with Matic. People have been talking about Kakuta and Borini and Sturridge but Wilkins has mentioned Matic to watch out for as he has been the best of all in the training. Cork for me would be the type who would do the dirty work. I look at him as more of a Utility Man who can fill up gaps in defense and Midfield. Sadly its between him and Mancienne. I cannot see both of them together making it to the first team squad. Mikel thrives in 4-3-3 but in Diamond he has more space to cover as you dont have wingers to track back and hence has struggled at times. Connor Clifford for me is the next best thing in the midfield after Lampard and Essien. He looks such a dynamic player. Typical Box to Box like Gerrard, Lampard, Essien. He has a good shot on goal as well. I wouldnt waste him at the bottom of the midfield. -
He is a Fucking Machine!!!

That cracked me up..tbh.

Sergio Aguero joins the other Manchester club
warnie_666 replied to .Cee's topic in Transfer Archives
Signing Aguero will be good. But that will be a big let down for Borini and Sturridge. May be when we decide to sell Anelka..... -
