As I said a mixture of these kids and the experienced players. Players like Kakuta, Aguero, Soch, Malouda, Matic, Hamsik can all play one touch quick passing game. Add to that power of Essien, Drogba, Lampard and Mikel.
-
I see the Term X having Jose's Quote as his signature which was a dig at us. I thought there was more chance of an opposition fan havin that as his signature than a Chelsea Fan. If the fans cant get over him they have no right to blame the players who've spent hours n hours together with him. Chanting Jose Moruinho before the Match instead of backing our manager and players was a good way to back our team.
-
The Irony is, Kakuta has never played again after his "MoM" performance against Apoel in Champions League. At the moment, he looks a better bet than Joe Cole and Deco. I for one beleive, we need to get a bunch of really good young players in the first team. The likes of Pato, Kakuta, Stoch, Matic, Hamsik, Aguero, Asenjo, Bruma. This team could do wonders if played together for a a couple of years. Add to this Experience Candidates like Terry, Lampard, Essien, Cech, Drogba, Mikel, A. Cole, Malouda, Ivanovic, Alex, Bosingwa. And we could have a real good team on our hands.
-
Why 5 Strikers? And Pjanic is an attacking Midfielder/Playmaker and we already have Joe Cole and Kakuta for that. We need a box to box midfielder to replace Ballack.
-
I dont care if we Win the Double Domestically. I just want to get rid of the following Players no matter what as we are playing with the same team for 5 seasons. Ballack OUT Deco OUT Ferreira OUT Kalou OUT Belleti OUT Carvalho OUT The SQUAD would look Much Much Fresher without these Players. Although im in two minds with Kalou. He is our best impact Player to be honest. I would want to keep Joe Cole as he is reaching that stage in his career when he could put in some exceptional performances. If he wants to move on then he can go. I'd bring in Aguero IN Hamsik IN Kakuta IN Bruma IN Mancienne IN Matic IN Stoch IN. Corck IN Aguero, Hamsik, Kakuta, Bruma are direct replacements for Kalou, Ballack, Deco, Carvalho. I would even add Hutchinson to the squad if FIT. Squad as following: GK: Cech, Turnbull, Hilario Defense: A. Cole, Zirkov, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Bruma, Terry, Alex, Mancienne, Hutchinson(If FIT) Midfield: Essien, Lampard, Hamsik, Mikel, Matic, Cork. Attacking Midfield/Wingers: Malouda, Stoch, Kakuta, Joe Cole Strikers: Drogba, Anelka, Aguero, Sturridge. The Squad looks a great mix of youth and experience.

Bang On!!....JT has screwed our season Big Time. Thanks to his Offfield escapades. The Media has been all over him and us. We were crusing along in January and then suffered badly in Feb. All thanks to our Captain!!!
-
It was a Jose Show,Thanks to Chelsea Fans and Media and I cant help but think our fans were more inclined to cheering Mourinho than our team and our Manager. Fuck Mourinho, he is past. Cant get rid of the feeling some fans on here still think of him. He seems to be a Mental Block to everyone at Chelsea. I love him, but when he is playing against Chelsea I'd put him down. As FB said...he made sly digs at us, and our manager. And we seem to be supporting him more than our own players and manager. Jose is Past, get over it. Jose twice got shafted by Rafa Benitez in Champions League. In First Season a 0-0 boring draw at the Bridge and got shafted at Anfield by the same guy whose side is struggling at 6th place at the moment.. Its kind of Ironical, that Ancelloti the Man who almost won 3 Champions League in space of 8 seasons at AC Milan, came to Chelsea and broke our chain of Successive Semi Final entries in this competition. Jose Moruinho was crap last season in the Champions League because the squad he had was not his and was dumped by Man Utd in round of 16. Give Ancelloti some time and get behind him.
-
Mourinho had 3 chances to win us the Champions League after spending millions.. He didnt win it. Ancelloti has had one chance that too with a team that he never built. So whats all the Ancelloti bashing about? Wait till the end of the season. We have a great chance of winning the league. No midweek games and our players being fresh for weekend Premier League matches would be a great advantage. I would be happy with a Domestic Double. I agree you part on Lampard, in the last month or two his performances have gone down considerably. Joe cole for 30 mins hardly touched the ball. Time to get rid of the dead wood. The team has stagnated. We need young legs, fresh legs. Pjanic and Aguero wpu;d do the job for me while Kakuta and Matic along with Bruma could start playing more in the first team in place of Deco, Ballack and Carvalho.

Jose Mourinho Claimed everyone knew he never loses at the Bridge. And he proved it. Ironically, he is the Only manager to beat us at the Bridge after Rijkaard's Barcelona side 4 years back in the Champions League. 10 reasons why we lost the tie: 1. The Refs as usual had to fuck up somewhere. Kalou's penalty in the first tie should have been a red for Samuel. And Samuel Rugby Tacklles Drogba in the box. How can that not be a penalty? 2. Jose Mourinho's tactics to break Chelsea's play in the midfield. For 90 mins I just couldnt see the flow in the game. 3. Walter Samuel and Lucio playing at their best together dominated Drogba like no one did. 4. Missing important players like Ashley Cole and Essien. Essien would have had that Dutch playmaker in his back pocket. 5. Mikel failed to stop Wesley Sneijder. He was the man making Inter Play. 6. Lampard, Anelka and Ballack were totally ineffective. Absolutely 0 performance. Ballack should be sent out packing. 7. Joe Cole came in and failed to show up. Hardly did anything. Kalou has been our best impact player and should have been on instead of Joe Cole. 8. Ancelloti tactics failing to impress. Drogba was bullied by two defenders and he should have put Anelka in the centre to free Drogba up. He failed. Instead through we were playing 4-3-3. 9. We failed to take our chances at Inter Milan and now we rue them. It doesnt matter if you were the better team. Winning is important. 10. Terry's affair off field. Ever since that affair popped up, Terry has lost his form and allowed Milito that crucial first goal at Inter. I wouldnt blame Ancelloti. He isnt a fucking Magician. Its true that he has been brought to win the UCL, but he needs some time to settle in with this team. Mourinho was kicked out of the Champions League by Sir Alex last season. Give Ancelloti some time. Those who have harsh words for Ancelloti, need to fuck off. He will win us the league and I am confident about that and that in itself would be a great accomplishment for a manager in his first season. And may be in a year or two, he will get us the Champions League. If some of you cant wait for it, go support Barcelona.
-
Mourinho saying "Everybody knows Mourinho doesnt lose at SB" is another of his mind games. I hope this doesnt affect the mentality of our players. We dont need Joe Cole as we do not need to attack from the word go. A Solid defensive performance and a goal at anytime in 90 minds is good enough to see us through. Ballakc does alot to break the play playing behind Lampard and ahead of Mikel. Joe Cole should be brought in if we need to attack attack attack!!. For now we need to be strong in midfield and for that to happen Ballack is important.
-
Happy Bday you fucking beast!!!...May you have a good one today and may you remain fit and may you score lots of goals from now on till the end of the season and lead us to victories on all 3 fronts.
-
Stoch's contract ends this season. So its more a case of him wanting to move on in search of First Team action than we letting him go.
-
He should be back FIT for the Man Utd game!! Gutted we will miss his long range shooting and midfield drive against the Nerazzuris at the Bridge
-
Terry is the Key here. If Terry can just shut his mind off from the media and get his Pre everton Form back, we will be right back on track. I am gutted Alex has to sit on the bench. He is a freaking amazing defender who scores goals as well.
-
I dont know how the other big players would react if Ancelloti decides to drop Terry. There is a a certain amount of Player Power with Big Heads like Cech, Drogba and Ballack at the helm. Not so much Frank Lampard. I suggest we sell Terry next season. Had enough of him tbh. He has thrown away his england captaincy and now cus of him the Club is in a peril and could end up losing against Inter and also the Title.

Can someone change this thread name to the" Terminator Bashing" thread? I beleive even if he comes up with a "HI" on this thread he will get a bundle of -ve reps
-
Dont think he has the balls to take tough decisions. JT loses his marker Saha 1-1 to Everton. JT misses his header, Saha Chests the ball and scores 2-1 Everton. JT misses the clearance but a weak shot prevents Wolves from scoring. JT fails to block Milito 1-2 Inter JT fails to win the ball from Tevez's feet. 1-1 Man City. How many more? 3rd loss in 5 games. 4 goals of which have gone against Terry. Not good. Can Ancelloti drop him? I do not think so......He still defended JT in post match interview.
-
Drop JT, He thinks he is invincible. His Drop in Form has resulted in 3 losses in 5 games.

They have changed the time table this season for TV coverage and thus more time between the legs. Its not just us who are

Get Rid of the Following: Ballack: Past his best, we need fresh legs in the middle. Ferreira: Not sure why he still is in the club. Past his best even our reserve players could do better than him and they deserve some chance. Deco: Injured more than half of the time he has been at the Bridge. Past his best, Bring on Kakuta. Carvalho: Past his best, makes silly mistakes. Plus we have good defenders waiting in the wings. Belleti: He will go to Flamengo next season. Decent player but needs to move on so that players like Jack Cork and Mancienne can show their talent with the first team squad. Kalou: Good Impact Player but wasteful. Needs to move on to a club like Spurs. Get these Players: Involve Kakuta more into the first team. Him and Joe Cole could be competing for the same spot behind the striker. Get Marek Hamsik as a replacement for Ballack. We need young and fast legs in the middle. Promote Bruma to the First team. Behind JT, Alex, Ivanovic. Bring on Hutchinson in the first team. He seems to be a good player hampered with injuries. Jack Cork and Mancienne must be invloved in First team as a replacement for Ferriera and Belleti. These could be our two Utility Men. Bring on Aguero to compete for the two strikers position along with Drogba and Anelka. We have enough Left Footed/Sided players in Malouda and Zirkov. Hence I wouldnt like Maria or Ribery to come.

I dont care what happens in his private life. Hopefully now that he has saved the marraige his confidence has improved and hopefully he wont give us another Everton Performance.
-
I agree with BadBoi, he is in the Anelka mould. He has great pace and his finshing skills are TOP!!. Difference between him and Borini is that Borini didnt take his chances when he got the nod ahead of him but Sturridge took his. He has given us assists against Fulham, West Ham and Burnley(he provided us the corner) and then his goals in every stage of FA CUP is a record of sorts which is currently held by Osgood. Great Business there. My only concern is, once he becomes a regular he will consider himself bigger than the club. I hope he changes his attidude. Amazing Young Player!! Kalou is more of an impact player and always does well when he comes off the bench. Borini has fizzled out currently, thats what happens when you miss your chances. Matic will eventually replace Ballack, his ball control is amazing...looks sleek!!. Kakuta will eventually replace Deco for sure. Future is good.!!!

Is our midfield as dominant as it use to be?
warnie_666 replied to gary gordon's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Our Midfield without Essien lacks the X Factor. We need him to drive the midfield. Also, With Essien we seem to be more adventurous. The passing has been Superb. No qualms on that. Ballack has been a bit of defensive midfielder. He does the tackles, wins the balls ahead of Mikel while Lampard plays further forward picking out the front three with his passes.. Yesterday we didnt even get out of second gear. The game was over in 30 mins. We just had to sit back absorb the pressure and hit them on counter. Typical Italian Football. Hence you didnt see much drive in the midfield as everyone was sitting back.
