  1. One of the best Champions League Games Ever and what better than to do it at Nou Camp. Revenge sought and got
  2. It was Almost Zidane-esque Stupid terry still says he didnt mean it. We all know you did and you almost cost us the final.
  3. Cahill's Boxing at the corner Flag. Lampard running at the corner flag and running around it imitating his dad's celebrations These are the two celebrations that came to my mind
  4. JT, Drogba, Lampard, Cech not having won the champions League in their career would be criminal. They are the remnants from the best squad ever to have not won the Champions League. I would have loved Ballack to win it in 2009. Lampard more importantly just to rub into the faces of dirty scousers who come up with Lampard has no Champions League Medal if gerrard has no Premier League Medal.
  5. Good Job laughing like an idiot and calling others deluded by writing a one liner response without backing up with facts
  6. LOL..... absolutely ridiculous. Was was shit at Napoli and FYI we havent been keeping clean sheet to save our life and you claim one of our defenders was "Superb" And regarding Bosingwa, its not about how many times he made Bertand play, its about did he make him play when he had the opportunity.? and answer is flat NO.
  7. Initially even I thought this was Grant all over again. But in case of Grant I never heard one player come out in public and appreciate Grant's effect on team. In Roberto's case, players are actually appreciating what he has done. He changed the formation to 4-2-3-1 which was similar to what he used at West Brom. He got Eddie Newton and a completely NEW BACKROOM STAFF in its first year while Grant had Steve Clarke from Mourinho's time. He put Ramirez on the Flank and he Ramirez is killing it out there. He made Bertand play and not Bosingwa or Ferriera and that for a youngster is a big boost of confidence. He told the Old guard that they gotta go out in style and be remembered as Champions and not as losers who were once great and now past it. He has created a Seige mentality. He basically undid everything that AVB did. He got Luiz firing on all cylinder and Luiz was one of the players on AVBs side but was still rusty. But under Roberto he is Brute. 4-2-3-1 has made us concede less goals. He surprised everyone with his squad selection for FA Cup as most were hoping he would rest players for Barcelona and ended up winning both the ties. He is lucky and like I mentioned I would rather have a manager who has luck on his side. Mourinho's Chelsea were unlucky in the Champions League. When people say you were lucky to win a game in Champions League knock out, then rest assured you have good odds of winning the tournament. I am not saying chelsea is destined to win it this year but the odds look great and here is why. Liverpool's Ghost Goal and a lucky Penalty in the finals. JT slipped and Man Utd won it. Ovrebo helping Barca by coming out with the most ridiculous refereeing displays. Inter Milan were lucky they were not reduced to 10 men when Kalou was hacked down in the box with a penalty to us and later against Barcelona, a legitimate Bojan goal was disallowed by the ref which had it been allowed Barca would have gone through. Compare that to our luck this year and its nothing. couple of shots hit the bar against Barca.
  8. You think he will stay on as an assistant after doing what he has? My guess is Spurs might approach him in place of Harry ie if we do not make him perm
  9. I would rather have a manager that has got lady luck on his side instead of a manager with no luck at all. Fergie's Man Utd have been lucky for years. To win competitions you need luck else Barcelona would be winning it every season.
  10. Old Edwin is suffering from Sour Grapes Syndrome.
  11. If we get a new manager, then Ryan's career could be affected. I remember Scott Sinclair given fair bit of run by Mourinho. Mourinho was sacked and Scott was later loaned for game time. Ryan is getting similar runs from Di Matteo but a new manager will want another left back. FOR ANY YOUNGSTER TO FLOURISH, MANAGER STABILITY IS IMPORTANT!!
  12. Roland Koeman played Defender and Van Der Saar played a GK and it is so ironic that they say Chelsea defending for 90 minutes is anti football and is ugly and that Barcelona's is beautiful. This aint Fucking Ballet for it to be beutiful.
  13. What a Dick Van Der Saar is. When they beat Barca they parked the bus at Nou Camp for a 0-0 and then at OT
  14. 6 by 3 feet is slightly more and there is no big difference. Everyone is making a huge deal about it. Old Trafford is as big as Camp Nou and yet Man Utd Parked Bus and scored a goal back in 2008. Wembley and Emirates are as big as Camp Nou. Now Bernebau is much bigger stadium. I read a stupid article today from paul merson in which he says that Chelsea will struggle against Barcelona because the pitch size is almost the double that at Stamford Bridge. :banghead:
  15. Stamford Bridge Pitch: 103 X 67 meters Camp Nou Pitch: 105 X 68 meters. Yeah thats ALOT!!! Too much is being made of the pitch size. It doesnt matter how big it is, what matters is how you use it.
  16. Roberto has really surprised me to be honest. At first I thought it is the players reaction to change just like it happened in case of Kenny Dalglish when he took over from Roy Hodson. But it seems like Dimatteo has to take alot of credit for this change too. His squad rotation is superb. Most people were expecting two different teams for FA CUP and Barca Semi Finals but he surprised everyone by playing almost the same team. His tactics against Barcelona were superb. I have to admit that with the change of managers we have had a change of luck too. And I would definately take a lucky manager over an unlucky one. Against Arsenal he didnt go gung ho. He hasnt panicked, he seems happy with the draw and confident enough to beat Newcastle. His major change has been putting Ramirez on the wing and it has been a successful tactic. His change from 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1 has been exceptional.
  17. Drogba a doubt for Barcelona? Its a mind games. Yes he may have had knocks but that statement from DiMatteo will keep them guessing.
  18. I still wouldnt be comfortable with a 0-0. If they score in 93rd, we are sure to lose as that would be a huge confidence blow going into the extra time.
  19. Inter Milan were very lucky last time around. Barca were 1-0 and during the end Bojan's perfectly legitimate goal was ruled out by the Refs. Had it stayed with a score of 2-0 Barca would have gone through.
  20. Id take a 2-1 Loss. We cannot be comfortable with a 0-0 scoreline. I dont want a Liverpool repeat from 5 years ago. Where we lost on Penalties. I really hope the referee doesnt fuck it up. We have NEVER lost to Barca 11 on 11. Hope it stays 11 on 11 and we get a 1-1 draw.
  21. It gives you a food for thought. Mata can defend---> Win Ball---> set up counter attack with one incisive pass while Kalou isnt great at doing the latter but is better at defending and tracking back. Priority is to not to concede therefore I say kalou. --------------------------------Cech------------------------------ Ivanovic-----------------Cahill-----Terry-----------------Cole ----------------------------------Mikel----------------------------- --Kalou---------Lampard-------------Meireless---Ramirez-- ---------------------------------Drogba---------------------------
  22. We dont need to create or produce. We just need to set up Camp at Nou Camp.
  23. No...If Drogba and Ramirez get yellow in second leg and if we qualify, they will miss the final. I so hope not...
  24. I would start Kalou instead of Mata simply because Kalou is fantastic at tracking back and defending. and Lampard to spray the passes around. If we are chasing the game, I would play Mata and Torres in place of Meireles and Kalou.
