Chelsea to play Bayern Munich in the Final
warnie_666 replied to James's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
So Bayern Munich it is. Just dont get into Penalties against Ze Germans. -
I just feel bad for him. He was superb in two legs against Barca and against Benefica and may be sold next season and yet put in a stellar performance without worrying about yellow. I felt bad for him when he was begging the ref not to yellow card him as he knew he would miss it and may not reach another final. Life is such a bitch

Oh Dear....Its not just the goal. He is invaluable to this team in several ways.

Can someone tell me how Torres wasnt offside? I heard that if the players is the last man in his own half it is never an offside...Is it?
-
Torres, Other versions... In the last video you can see the Barca fan calling Torres "PUTA" meaning Gay...What a dick

Pep has said he will consider his future after the loss. If he quits, I HOPE TO GOD Roman doesnt hire him in place of Roberto. Roberto is Chelsea through and through just like Pep was a Barca through and through. Plus, it would be silly if Roberto is let go and Pep is hired in his place after the tactical Master Class from Roberto against Pep inspite of being handicapped. Also, Pep has No Plan B and we showed that 2 games in a row

To Be Honest for a second I thought Torres would repeat the Man Utd miss again

I am a Bayern fan tomorrow -
Pep apparently said he needs to think about his future after the defeat. Life has come a full circle. It all started on that disgusting night when the referee put on a ridiculous display to send Barca through and then they never looked back and went on to win trophies and become the best side over. After that night they didnt face Chelsea a side they have never beaten with a 11 on 11 and always had dodgy decisions to help them win. 3 years later they meet their nemesis. Chelsea put in a performance of a lifetime to go on and win in what is considered one of the best comebacks football has ever seen. We bring them back to the ground with a thud.

You cannot pick one player as Man of the Match. This is a game of a life time. 10 men defended like Gladiators at the home of the Best Side Ever against all the odds while trailing by 2 goals. The poll should read as Men of the Match and must have only one option which should include all players on pitch.

I had posted 3 weeks ago that Universe had its own way of leveling things. Injustice of the highest order in 2009 and then to rub it in seeing Barca bench run towards the corner flag and celebrating infront of Chelsea fans 3 years later, 10 men on the pitch at Nou Camp against the Best Team ever and 2 goals down, no Chance in hell and Torres buries it in 91st minute and Chelsea celebrate infront of the Catalans. Comeback of the Highest order KARMA IS A BITCH!!!

One of the best Champions League Games Ever and what better than to do it at Nou Camp. Revenge sought and got
-
It was Almost Zidane-esque Stupid terry still says he didnt mean it. We all know you did and you almost cost us the final.
-
Cahill's Boxing at the corner Flag. Lampard running at the corner flag and running around it imitating his dad's celebrations These are the two celebrations that came to my mind
-
JT, Drogba, Lampard, Cech not having won the champions League in their career would be criminal. They are the remnants from the best squad ever to have not won the Champions League. I would have loved Ballack to win it in 2009. Lampard more importantly just to rub into the faces of dirty scousers who come up with Lampard has no Champions League Medal if gerrard has no Premier League Medal.

Good Job laughing like an idiot and calling others deluded by writing a one liner response without backing up with facts

LOL..... absolutely ridiculous. Was was shit at Napoli and FYI we havent been keeping clean sheet to save our life and you claim one of our defenders was "Superb" And regarding Bosingwa, its not about how many times he made Bertand play, its about did he make him play when he had the opportunity.? and answer is flat NO.

Initially even I thought this was Grant all over again. But in case of Grant I never heard one player come out in public and appreciate Grant's effect on team. In Roberto's case, players are actually appreciating what he has done. He changed the formation to 4-2-3-1 which was similar to what he used at West Brom. He got Eddie Newton and a completely NEW BACKROOM STAFF in its first year while Grant had Steve Clarke from Mourinho's time. He put Ramirez on the Flank and he Ramirez is killing it out there. He made Bertand play and not Bosingwa or Ferriera and that for a youngster is a big boost of confidence. He told the Old guard that they gotta go out in style and be remembered as Champions and not as losers who were once great and now past it. He has created a Seige mentality. He basically undid everything that AVB did. He got Luiz firing on all cylinder and Luiz was one of the players on AVBs side but was still rusty. But under Roberto he is Brute. 4-2-3-1 has made us concede less goals. He surprised everyone with his squad selection for FA Cup as most were hoping he would rest players for Barcelona and ended up winning both the ties. He is lucky and like I mentioned I would rather have a manager who has luck on his side. Mourinho's Chelsea were unlucky in the Champions League. When people say you were lucky to win a game in Champions League knock out, then rest assured you have good odds of winning the tournament. I am not saying chelsea is destined to win it this year but the odds look great and here is why. Liverpool's Ghost Goal and a lucky Penalty in the finals. JT slipped and Man Utd won it. Ovrebo helping Barca by coming out with the most ridiculous refereeing displays. Inter Milan were lucky they were not reduced to 10 men when Kalou was hacked down in the box with a penalty to us and later against Barcelona, a legitimate Bojan goal was disallowed by the ref which had it been allowed Barca would have gone through. Compare that to our luck this year and its nothing. couple of shots hit the bar against Barca.
-
You think he will stay on as an assistant after doing what he has? My guess is Spurs might approach him in place of Harry ie if we do not make him perm
-
I would rather have a manager that has got lady luck on his side instead of a manager with no luck at all. Fergie's Man Utd have been lucky for years. To win competitions you need luck else Barcelona would be winning it every season.

Old Edwin is suffering from Sour Grapes Syndrome.
-
If we get a new manager, then Ryan's career could be affected. I remember Scott Sinclair given fair bit of run by Mourinho. Mourinho was sacked and Scott was later loaned for game time. Ryan is getting similar runs from Di Matteo but a new manager will want another left back. FOR ANY YOUNGSTER TO FLOURISH, MANAGER STABILITY IS IMPORTANT!!

Roland Koeman played Defender and Van Der Saar played a GK and it is so ironic that they say Chelsea defending for 90 minutes is anti football and is ugly and that Barcelona's is beautiful. This aint Fucking Ballet for it to be beutiful.
-
What a Dick Van Der Saar is. When they beat Barca they parked the bus at Nou Camp for a 0-0 and then at OT
