This "worlds best team ever" would not have been the "worlds best team ever" if it hadnt been for Ovrebo. This team needed a push from the referee to get where they are now and after that night this team never looked back and reached new heights. It has been 3 years since that night and in that period they didnt face their nemesis aka Chelsea FC. Now they do. And I firmly beleive that it is us who would bring this team down to its knees. No one is giving us a chance but I beleive that it is in our destiny to crush this team and go on to win the Champions League. I cant stop thinking about it. all these years Chelsea was one of the most feared teams in Europe. One of the best teams ever not to have won the European Cup because of a ghost goal, because of penalties not given, cus of a missed penalty kick but now that we are shit and no one is giving us a chance, we have somehow made it to the semi finals and face the team against who we suffered the worst injustice in modern football. Universe has its own way of leveling things....and this is our chance and for some reason I feel that luck will be on our side this time

We can neuter them Tactically NOt technically. But tactics alone are not enough, that is why Managers like Mourinho are successful because they are great motivators. When they talk, players listen. You cant just rely on tactics and techniques to win football games certainly not against the so called "worlds best team ever" against who we have one of the most fierce rivalry in Europe.... And yes, it is the ref that screwed us, but my hate for Barcelona didnt start after that game. It started 8 years back, when Drogba was sent off and then Del Horno was sent off, and when Eto said they hate Mourinho and Chelsea, when they tagged us the enemies of football because we showed the world how to beat those pussy catalans.

Haha...Obviously the Captain wont come out saying Revenge Revenge. He should appear more level headed. Lampard said that they have an "Unfinished Business".......David Luiz mentioned that Didier Drogba dancing after looking at the draw was because of the prospect of playing Barcelona in the Semi. Every player after that night is thinking of "Revenge"

It is NOT a small team mentality. Jose's Inter Milan defended for 90 minutes in the second leg. These are called Tactics as away goals/goals count and can knock any team out even after drawing. In the league, where you play 38 games, parking the bus isnt really a tactic. Yes, if they do it in a knock out tournament, where they decide to defend and play on counter, then I would appreciate it. But not in the league.

I remember saying AVB needs to shut the fuck up back in october. He is too touchy and im not surprised that got him kicked out of this club.

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11668_2368373,00.html Barcelona's controversial star Lionel Messihas underlined the deep resentment he feels towards Chelsea. The talented Argentine also insists he is not alone in his 'hate' for The Blues with Wednesday's tumultuous UEFA Champions League clash appearing to have irrevocably damaged relations between the two clubs. Ahead of what is sure to be an emotionally-charged second leg at Camp Nou, Messi has also claimed the rivalry which now exists between the two surpasses even that of the fierce hostility which underpins clashes between Buenos Aires rivals River Plate and Boca Juniors. "There are players here who hate Chelsea more than Real Madrid," Messi told the News of the World. "I never thought I would hear myself say that. "I also never thought I would see something worse than the Boca and River Plate rivalry or Brazil v Argentina - but this is. "We would rather play Arsenal, Manchester United or anyone else than be on the pitch with Chelsea." Messi's revelation is the latest in a series of condemnations following the controversy of the player's challenge with Asier Del Horno, which led to the Chelsea man given his marching orders.

1. Never too late for a revenge. We didnt meet them after that disgraceful night. And we were killing teams after we got knocked out of Champions League. 2. One penalty claim and the tie was still alive. Compare that to a high octanne semi final where 4 blatant penalties were denied. Here is what was said by Messi 7 years back. http://www.skysports...2368373,00.html Not to mention the negative publicity Chelsea got and the shit we have to witness that "Football won" and enemies of football perished 3. David vs Goliath.......Ive been there done that. Nothing is impossible.

Revenge breeds Fire. If you want to beat the "worlds best team ever"....you need every bit of it.
-
We dont have to beat them at Nou camp unless we are beaten at the bridge....all we may need is a scoring draw.
-
Referees are humarn and they make mistakes too...
-
That IS way to positive....we shouldnt be so gung ho.
-
Its 2 Holding midfielders and one attacking., In 4-3-3 you play 2 attacking and 1 holding.
-
3 DM? That would mean playing in our half. They will tiki taka in our half all game if we play with 3 defensive mids. We have to play 4-2-3-1. Play deep, win the ball and lump it to Ramirez on the wing and let him make the run and pass it inside to Drogba, Mata, Lampard and Kalou. Also, they play high line, which makes them susceptible to counter attacks from players like Ramirez and Drogba.

Money Talks. there are talks in Spain that the federation will move the El Classico from sunday to Saturday to give their team enough time to recover ahead of the second leg.

This game reminds me of my team (I was the captain) in the recently concluded tournament that we played. We were the shittiest team in the league and ended up at the bottom of the 8 teams that participated. In the knockouts we were pitted against the team that finished 1st in the league. Most players had given up before the game as we got thrashed 9-4 in the league by them. I decided to play on the counter and we won the game 3-2 in extra time and made it to the semis. In semis we were playing against the second best team. They played the best football in the league. Slick passing and movement. Again everyone thought the quarter finals was a fluke. But our confidence grew on beating a top team in the quarter finals. And we again played on counter as I knew my team didnt have players with great technique and we coudlnt match them. We ended up beating them 5-3 in regular time. This team had beaten us 4-1 in the league. Having a striker like Drogba helped us who could take on their 2 defenders. Point is, we made it against the odds when no one gave us a chance. We were battered by these teams in the league but we raised our game when it mattered. And at this moment I see the same with Chelsea. No one is giving them a chance to get past Barca. I come across people who tell me that we will be thrashed by 5 goals. But if you have played the game you know that nothing is impossible. Chelsea know they cant match Barca at skill level. They have to play to their strengths. Be Organized, Press, defend like your life is on the line and dont lose possession and break fast and hit them on counter. By the way, we lost in the finals 3-1 as we had a man sent off (2 yellows). And that was me for abusing the ref and holding the collar of the opposition team's captain.

i wouldnt go by last night's result. It is hard to motivate yourself when you know that you have your one foot in the semi finals. Most of the fans were takling about the semi finals against Barca, so why wouldnt the players think the same.? It is all about motivation, more over Benefica are not Napoli or Barca. When it comes to games against a top top side, I am confident we will raise our game. Against Benefica we were not motivated enough for several reasons and also with a lead of 1-0 you really are not sure how to approach the game and we missed alot of chances. People have written us off after watching us against Benefica. Well, good for us. The last few times we have been the favourites, we suffered injustice, this time we are the under dogs just like Liverpool of 2005 and Inter of 2010 and hopefully the luck is on our side. You know what would make me happy? Scoring the winner in the 92nd minute and then watching the players and staff in blue running on the pitch and rejoicing in front of those catalans.
-
I wouldnt play Torres against Barca. I would play Drogba. I would play every player who suffered the worst injustice in modern football on that terrible night. If we fans feel such anger towards Barca after that night i can only imagine how the players would feel and i bet they would be itching to go on the feild and put the the record straight. The night before the game, I would make, Drogba, Terry, Lampard, Cole, Essien, Cech, Ivanovic, Kalou, Malouda, and the rest of the team sit and watch the 09 Semi Final at the Bridge. If that wouldnt motivate them then nothing on earth will.

There were rumours that UEFA wanted to prevent an all english finals for the second year in succession and therefore wanted to eliminate chelsea hence planted Ovrebo. The rumours now talk about a dream final between Real and Barca and i wouldnt be surprised to see the corrupt UEFA trying to get Barca through
