Ew, no thank you. It will be an insult to the club if that cunt ever puts on a Chelsea jersey

Mata isn't a winger, he is a more central player. And you shouldn't always listen to these so called "professionals". Most of them are nutters that talk absolute shite.

lol a live chat would be hilarious after defeats -
Now I'd like to say that I'm really no good at tactical analysis, I never have been and don't claim to be a guru like Seb or CarefreeChronic so I will probably say some stupid things, dont jump on my back. Just tell me what I've said wrong How much is Mikel to blame for our poor defensive form this season? And last season, too, during our "bad moment"? This season with the high line, it's obvious that JT and Iva are not comfortable with it. Especially JT who is really slow and this tactic exposes that aspect of his game. Iva has never been a "superb" CB, even if that's actually his main position, he's more comfortable at RB. Alex has become a nonperson in our team now, he's probably off in January. Luiz is the only one who would thrive in this tactic if only he cuts out those silly silly fouls and realizes that he won't always and more importantly, doesn't always have to get to the ball. How much is Mikel to blame? He has improved his attacking play this season - some of his passes against Arsenal in the first half were good. He was spreading it around decently. To my eye though, he doesn't provide any confidence, stability, etc to the back line like what Maka used to do. And he's no monster either like what Mascherano (for lack of better example in my mind) used to be at Liverpool (haven't watched him at Barca). The best comment I've read about Mikel is that he's good at a number of things, excellent at none. I think for us to become successful again, we need to get a better DM. ONe who can be world class. Romeu is promising, but he is young and we are judging him on carling cup and champions league games against weak opposition. He's a good passer of the ball and has made some great tackles/interceptions but we have yet to see if he can do it in the fast-paced Prem where players are much smarter, quicker, more physical than what he has faced. But I do think he should be given a chance to start every other week as Mikel hasn't exactly blown everyones minds with his performances Opinions?

Also - how much proper first-team football has he had??? Hardly 8 or so months of it! And most of it was as a striker. A lot of the things which he is lacking right now is possible to learn over experience

Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas
francozola replied to Fulham Broadway's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
No no that part of my reply to you was just a general comment. And I didn't mean those who criticize him = want him to be sacked. Criticism is okay. But I feel like a lot of it is premature because we're 10 games into the season, he's two years into management. Lets wait and see what he does first because he is not a stupid man, he will realize that his ideas don't all work and he will have to tweak them -

Yes I kind of get what you mean about Malouda... He does ok when he plays in the midfield like in the CL or Carling Cup games but as an impact player.... he's useless now. To be fair if Anelka had been fit yesterday he would have come on instead of Malouda. I think he's just been hoping that Malouda will come on and bring something to the team but he just isn't doing it anymore. Perhaps he thought during pre-season that he should be given a chance to make an impact before being kicked out immediately (we've seen with Malouda that he's a very inconsistent player. ( shite for almost 2 whole years before 18 excellent months under Hiddink and Carlo). AVB is young, he has been a manager for 2 years. He's bound to make mistakes. All I'm saying is - give him a season first. If he still is unwilling to adapt and to accept that not all of his ideas are going to work, then I will not be happy either. -
Lukaku was bought for the FUTURE. This isn't football fucking manager
-
lol he spent 25 odd million on Mata and 13 million on Meireles - hardly Wenger like. He was willing to spend about 20m on Pereira too. And remember he joined us only in late June and wanted time to assess the squad. Why don't you wait and see what he does when Anelka, Drogba, Malouda, Kalou all leave in the next 6-8 months

Wonder if AVB will still use the youth/fringe against the scum or if the likes of Mata will play -
Why the fuck are so many people blaming JT for that slip? JT wasn't perfect yesterday but that goal was Malouda's fault!!!!!!
-
You don't need to watch that shit you know!! I stopped watching all that crap years ago
-
Not that big a deal where I would go so far to call him Judas (he was never that important!) but would have been better for him to keep his mouth shut. No way will he be coming back anyway now that we've moved on to Mata.

Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas
francozola replied to Fulham Broadway's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I would have like to think that if he had been appointed earlier i.e. before/during the summer break, he would have gotten rid of those players. Anyway we did bring in Mata & Meireles who are improvements on what we had Agree to an extent, but he was at fault for 3 of their goals. He is decent at times but just disastrous yesterday. He just shouldn't be played in the big games. Name me a RB that is available who will do a better job than him defensively...? -
Right back we do need to improve but who is out there that can do the job defensively??? There are plenty who have pace and can bomb on but we need someone who is defensively solid and it's hard to find them. Most important thing imo is to get rid of Drogba, Kalou and Malouda. Especially the latter 2 who just simply do not deserve to play for the club. Replace them with hungrier players. Alex is just a waste of space atm he is not being played at all. Dunno if somethings gone wrong or if AVB just does not fancy him. JT doesn't have much time left. Luiz needs to work on himself A LOT. Iva is good but not "fantastic". Bosingwa is good against shite teams and just disastrous against better ones Sturridge isn't working at RW. He hasn't had a single decent game this season in terms of his overall team play. He scored a good goal against Sunderland, shite performance. Good goals against Bolton, okay performance and disappeared in the 2nd half. Poor against Utd, today. He will learn when it comes to judgment and playing the right pass. At least he isn't just a headless chicken and knows where to run, when to run. I certainly hope he'll learn. So we need a proper winger.
-
lol he was always slow! Thought he did ok. As I said the team defensively was just awful overall. I don't know why but somethings not right there. There's no concentration but this can be worked on.
-
You know what - I'm feeling better now. It was a bad match, let's put it behind us. I trust that AVB will rectify this. He has definitely learnt that his philosophy of "scoring one more goal than the opponent" does not work all the time. Defensively we need to become more rigid. He will work on it. Some of you lot are acting as if we've just been relegated. It's only October for christs sake!! CAREFREE, WHEREVER WE MAY BE :blue scalf: :blue scalf: Yeh I was agreeing with what you said! Feel a little bad for JT. He did well in the first half and was overall ok, I thought. Defensively we were poor as a unit and a couple of individual errors - like Bosingwa for their fifth and Malouda for their fourth - but overall as a team we were really shite defensively. The papers are gonna shit on him tomorrow for that slip!
-
Can't see how Terry would have done anything to stop RVP anyway! RVP already had the run on him and JT is slow as hell! Just a stupid, stupid mistake from Malouda that ultimately cost us the game.

One of these defeats is good once in a while - gets rid of the wankers that are glory hunters
