Will there be no streams at all? I don't even care if there's Arabian commentary or whatever. Won't bother to wake up if that's the case (3am kickoff!!!)
I think he would be disastrous at DM. But this debate will continue on and on until we actually see him play there and are able to judge his performance
Since Bosingwa's is just a 1 match ban, no point in appealing since it'll just count against Everton - which he wasn't going to play anyway. If it had been a 3 match ban I think we would have appealed
I thought Derry's obvious time wasting tactic - where he just sat down on the field and claimed he had some kind of leg injury - was even more annoying. It was during a period where we had 2 or 3 chances in a row and were clearly building up a lot of momentum. He managed to waste about 90 secs and after that we couldn't get it going in the same way again
Agree, Terry wouldn't have gotten back in time. The foul on Luiz from the corner was unlike most fouls that usually happen during set pieces. Usually it's just a little shirt pull. But the QPR player (was it Helguson?) had BOTH arms around him and pulled him to the ground. Definite penalty.
He'll definitely get a fine - he probably knew that before he gave the interview. But it was more important to get the message across. Love that he didn't just criticize the referee, but the way he went about it "This cannot go on". Legend. Don't they give warnings first before giving the touchline bans?
Yes I agree that every decision that he gave was 50/50. I can see why he gave the QPR pen and Bos red even if I don't agree with either. But at least I can see why he gave them. But what about the decisions that he didn't give? I.E. our 3 penalty appeals? Luiz's was a stonewall pen. And Lamps' should have been a penalty too. Where's the fucking consistency?
Very pleasing that our two losses this season have still led to such positive feelings from us fans. The lads are showing much more fight, hunger, determination, etc this season.
Very good when he came on yesterday. Who thinks he should be our starting RB? Jose has improved a great deal this season but still is only 'above average' imo. His defending is still suspect. He gets forward really, really well but crossing can be atrocious at times - which is so frustrating. Iva was given the license to get forward much more yesterday and he put in a couple of great crosses. That cross for Anelka's header was one of the best crosses I've seen in a long time. He was always there to support the midfielders too. Defensively he's definitely better than Bos and also provides a huge threat on set pieces. I'm torn because Jose has done ok this season. hmmmmm...
Ultimate small club mentality: 2 players advantage - still get thoroughly outplayed, holding on by the skin of your teeth and have to resort to time-wasting tactics. Celebrate at the final whistle as if you've won the world cup.
JESUS CHRIST CAN YOU STOP CALLING IT STRAMPORD BRIDGE I wanted to tell you in my first message but decided to let it go incase it was a typo or something but clearly you have NO CLUE
