  1. Jorginho, havertz, Loftus cheek and maybe even Gallagher gotta be subbed.
  2. As much as we all truthfully are happy that at the end of the day, against our bogey team we have walked away with 3 points. The truth is still more hurting. Tuchel is one for creating solidity via formation, and is brilliant at coaching triangle based 3 pass combos that allow us to beat most press situations. Once we get into the opponents half, we are so unbelievably slow that if we continue like this we will always need individual moments of magic to actually get behind/get into goal scoring situations more often. The way we do the 3 pass escape in our own half, we need to do that with more risks, more often to create one on ones in attack and he's gotta coach it into them to make that happen. 3 points were luck yesterday. Add a richarlison or Carvert Lewin in that team and it would've been a draw at best. 3 points . Good. Lots of work to do.
  3. Even if we missed getting any other top defenders after koulibaly, maybe one cover for rb/lb BUT got another exciting forward - this would be a very successful window if we were moving towards an attractive attack based philosophy. We need to get direct players who despite managers' demands/lack of coaching attacks - just went for it and took on players and made swift movements. Sterling + one more would have changed the dynamic completely. Hoping for a stroke of luck somewhere in this transfer market. Whether it's because of a domino effect or whatever - we need this. Attack is the best form of defense.
  4. truth is our style of play sucks. Not a very attractive proposition for attackers specially after plenty of high profile flops in attacking areas in the recent past. That, and the fact that right now there are 2 teams that are playing wayyyy better football than us in The PL and dominating the league/cups as well.
  5. Would be interesting if we simply put a £50 million price on him( taking an almost equivalent loss from a year ago), would there be any takers? People seem to accept that it HAS to be inter( which is where talks are happening now) but now that it is anyway so public , won't do us any harm to float a price in the market via "sources"
  6. Hadnt watched galagher last season but he doesn't really do anything particularly well. Too many passes back. Not presenting himself for the ball, and when he does get it can't seem to turn around and get forward movement going. He does press well though.
  7. Hazard isn't a shit player by any means. Would have to differ on that 100%. As for formations and who he would take the place of , a 4-5-1 could easily have space for him? Kante-kova-mount-ziyech-werner-havertz-puli-hazard 8 players could compete for 5 spots with a striker upfront.
  8. Could be the game changer for us and I'd have him back in a heartbeat. When you look at Man city Liverpool Utd, each having someone who can single handedly win games. We need that. However, tuchel will need to go 4 at the back to make space for another midfielder. We're a big club. If he comes and doesn't work - so what. We have a good team already. Many players in the squad of quality. Anyone else who would be available will cost 100+ million and even those players are all almost taken for sure by other clubs. We had our last year transfer window where we spent big and got 2 of Germany's biggest new stars. They'll come good next season. Sure of it. They need one more midfielder around them who is decisive and inspires confidence. We need a striker too though. Lukaku maybe with hazard?
  9. Agreed. This season is about consolidation and just getting there somehow, which is the only reason this is bearable. Next season we have got to have some swagger in our style of play. As a fan I need to feel excited while watching a Chelsea game.... Nowadays it's just not something I look forward to that much knowing what's to come.
  10. Hope Tuchel changes his style next season. Can't imagine watching a full season of this next year. Yea we need a striker and that might improve things, but even now when we get the ball forward the reluctance to make a goalward movement infuriates me. Instead , looking around and making the easy back pass is a soul crusher. Hope.
  11. To be honest - can now say after 20-25 games , not a fan at all of the Tuchel style of football. Feels like Mourinho all over again, along with the Sarri like death by possession in defensive areas. We have won and drawn loads of games so everything looks great on paper when looking back but this is definitely not the direction I want our football to go in the next year or two. what's good: Our pressing and trying to win the ball back. Everything else : It's like watching paint dry.

  13. What is this ridiculous insistence of making 25 passes across our own box??? Why has this not been coached out yet. Its just asking for shit to go wrong. Unbelievable.
  14. We make every team look like they are leicester. No pattern of play or ability to dominate and impose on the game.
  15. Well clearly most don't rate him anymore - me included. Still support him though since he's loyal to the club. However, he should have been sold for 65 million or whatever the bid was. Losing him on a free considering how inflated the market is now is terrible business.
  16. looked like he didnt want to play. no running. closing down. no interest whatsoever.
  17. jorginho been missing again..... doesnt seem to fit into lamps style,
  18. azpi just cant cross. so sad to watch him get the ball on the wing every single time....
  19. ++ Mount and Barkley are on fire -- We look like Fulham V2
  20. 50% lure of Juventus and winning leagues easily. Our transfer ban Having found it tough to adjust in the PL He's done this kind of shit before. Not being able to command dressing room(speculation) Can't handle adversity at all. And not to forget - his team played terrible football.
  21. Haha there was no booing or chanting from me. Just a lot of hope Sarri got it together. There were zero signs of better football though and the way I see it , apart from defenders passing it among themselves( which was proven via stats) it was hazard FC for me. He made our season happen.
  22. He could have made things happen for us. Possibly. Every other sign he showed throughout the season was not positive. His substituations, refusal to play certain players. Failing to make us play good football. Our football was atrocious imho. Yet, even with bad spells where chanting happened ,those were after humiliating defeats and inept performances. We were still ready to give him a chance and gamble. Let him go. We need a more positive happy coach at Chelsea. Being the kind of club that we are, the atmosphere is very important and he often acted out and didn't make it better . Good bye. Not as great a loss as knee jerkers are making it out to be. They tend to forget the performances and remember only the results. We were lucky for top 4. Europa league is well, Europa league .
  23. mourinho just took a dig at chelsea in his post match interview. Has no class.
  24. Another referee would have given the Fer foul on cahill, but another referee would have also disallowed costas goal for a high boot and making contact. cant blame the ref for this one. We did not exert our game enough and even then, did not kill it off multiple times. No Hazard no win it seems, and probably true.
