I think it has to do with his high wages but also with the fact that in the summer our midfield will possibly be crowded. Still, wether he stays for another year or not, I would like for him to instead get a job and stay in Chelsea.

Actually couldnt agree more with this post. And I said to everyone who was going nuts when Benitez was appointed and RDM fired: Dont judge Rafa yet, but at least give him a try. Judge him at the end of his Chelsea career or at least after he's had a go at it. So far he has done really good.

Luiz is great, whatever some morons here say. He's better than Cahill as CB and he's better than Lampard in the double pivot. He's good in both positions, he's versitile, he obviousley loves the club and the players alot (his dissapointment in the club world cup was a sign of that) and he's said he will play whereever he needs to play.

I very much doubt we will land anyone like Falcao or Cavani in january. What other likely options are there?
