I do not understand why people discuss money and FFP. First of all, even if some may believe it, our board doesnt consist soley of retarded monkeys. Im more than sure that there are people who knows exacly how it works, how we look, what we need to do and what we can afford. Secondly, we need an established striker ASAP. With that said, the possibility of bringing in a lesser name with potential and talent is still there. However, we still dont know exacly what will happen with Danny and Lukaku might actually be recalled. And we cannot refer to Shevshenko and Torres and say "big money transfers are bad" bla bla bla. "its risky". Its ALWAYS risky. Yes, Falcao could flop here, but the risk of that is very low. We could buy friggin Messi and there would also be a risk. And yes, we need to strenghten some other positions but at the moment we got HUGE striker issues. All other spots are yet good enough. We arent that bad, we still have a high-quality defense and midfield but the problem is simply that we do not have a striker. Just look at United, their defense is utter shit, but yet they still win games. Look at their offensive force. That is what we need. We cannot compete with the top with Torres up front. Nor can we with some 10m random striker. FACT. Im praying to God that we sign Falcao in january, even if I think it will be expensive and hard, but seriousley i couldnt care less. The money isnt mine and im bloody sick of watching games and getting pissed off by looking at Torres and the way he keeps screwing up.

How much has he played as CF though? He did great in Bolton and had like 1-2 shots as CF for Chelsea this season after he was injured, so his finishing was poor but his movement was alot better than Torres'. The problem is that he hasnt been given enough time as CF, and not enough time on the pitch at all lately, that you cannot really say that he is better as winger than as CF. In any way, he is better than Torres. I would chose Danny over Torres any day of the week, during ANY circumstances.
