Some time ago I wished for Torres to end up with a non-serious injury that would keep him out for a month or two. People called me all kinds of things. I still believe that would have put us in another (much better) situation.

Desperate situations require desperate actions. While I blame Benitez for some decisions he made/did not make, the players are the ones to blame here. Sure, Benitez could (should) have brought on some offensive force earlier and taken off players such as Bertrand instead, HOWEVER against a bloody SHIT TEAM like QPR (Yes they are a shit team) we shouldnt play this bad with a few substitutes. That is a FACT. It is bloody embarassing and pathetic that we cannot even score a single goal against a team that only one ONE GAME this season, on OUR BACKYARD with a few substitutes. If he doesnt go with that then screw him. If I was incharge the only way Id sign Ba wouldnt be with an appearance based contract, considering his injury(ies). I mean just imagine if we'd sign him and go with Ba+Torres and after a few weeks Ba gets injured and away for 6 months. That would be devastating. There is a risk involved here and if we are gonna take the risk signing this guy we have to cover our ground so we dont just end up with another player on a high payroll whos not even on the bench.
