We cannot have more than 2 quality strikers with the formation we are running. So, first of all we need to get rid of Torres. Hopefully that happens in the summer. Then, if we are buying someone like Falcao/Cavani, and we still have Ba, recalling Lukaku under those circumstances would be stuipid. I cannot see Ba leaving us in the summer already, so I am really worried what will happen with Lukaku. Im afraid someone will buy him. Ideal for me would be Falcao/Cavani + Lukaku. But what happens with Ba?

Guys you have to realize something. We WILL buy a player for the double pivot now or in the summer. That will of course result in Lampard being offered less gametime. However, it would also mean that the club is probably not willing to pay wages like that for Lampard when he would probably not play so much (and considering his age). So I belive this case is more about what Lampard would be willing to accept in terms of a contract, rather than if Chelsea wants to keep him or not. I honestly believe Chelsea want to keep Lampard (under other circumstances than the presant ones) but Lampard has to think about himself aswell.

Thats your opinion. Regarding what you said about Luiz, I could come up with a number of things about Cahill too. Fact remains, people usually judge Luiz alot more because he sticks out more. People usually dont notice Cahills mistakes because they just dont want to see them, you see it all over these forums when Cahill has a bad game compared to Luiz. Luiz takes 10 times the shit Cahill takes.

To me it is clear that most people put Cahill infront of Luiz because of: 1) the fact that Cahill is english and they see him as the next Terry 2) Luiz's playstyle I would chose Terry+Luiz over Terry+Cahill any day of the week.

A win would be massive, considering Stoke's record. I honestly think parking the bus of some type is dangerous and will not lead to a victory. We have to realize the fact that we got players that are quicker and more technical than those of Stoke. If we are going to play deep, sit back and wait for Stoke to collect on corners, cut ins and free kicks etc then we will be in a bad spot. Instead lets have them chase the ball, play quick passes and keep the ball running on the GROUND. I would line up like this: Turnbull Azpi - Iva - Cahill - Cole Ramires - Luiz Mata - Hazard - Marin Ba If you look at Stokes last 4 games, City won 3-0 and they arent exacly sitting back waiting for Stoke. Southampton did 3-3 against Stoke and they went out there. We need to do the same. If we let Stoke do what they are best at, our chances of winning become much smaller. And this is a really important game.

True. But depending on the team we are facing and what players are playing, I think we need to look at other formations than the 4-2-3-1, especially when we have Moses available and/or when we are resting Mata.

I think that an optimal way to use Oscar would be in a formation like this: Luiz Ramires - Oscar Moses--------------------Hazard Ba or Mikel instead of Luiz or Mata instead of Moses
