Right. But to me another major difference is that City can't say they have someone who's "City through and through", whereas Chelsea can say that they have Lampard and Terry who have been there for ages. This lends the team its character, I feel.

Don't think Torres AND Drogba will start together...although he has experimented playing both of them at the same time, he has not started a game with both on the pitch. Depending on Malouda's fitness things could change, but I think the most likely lineup upfront and in the mid will involve Lampard, Mikel, Kalou, Mata, Drogba/Torres and Sturridge/Essien/Malouda.

On the bright side, he'll be in charge of their transfers

Very tough to choose..

That's the luxury of having a good targetman up front. They make up for any deficiencies in the middle of the park. The thing with Chelsea, is that whoever plays up front has to work hard to create chances for others as well. I didn't see today's game live to judge Lukaku's performance, but from the highlights, the cross he delivered to JT suggests there's another side to his game. Will he be able to truly emulate Drogba? I don't know for sure, but the signs show he can step up to the task.
