  1. Drogba would be the first to say that without Cech and Lampard, we would have been in deep waters. Remember the penalties he conceded? If it were not for the rest of the team, Drogba wouldn't have the platform to perform like he did.
  2. According to Martin Tyler, RDM was born in a German-speaking part of Switzerland...seems to have a bit of everything in him, DiMatteo...
  3. What everyone seems to forget is that we've been forced to play an unorthodox line-up due to the suspensions... If Ramires was there we very well could have preyed on their nervousness earlier on in the match, and wouldn't have to sit so deep in our own half for long periods...Anyway, none of that matters in the end.
  4. Lol..that was Tomo-91 and what he called the 'Fluke show of 2005'...
  5. Someone should make a video compilation with both finals....Drogba stepping up to take the penalty he couldn't in 2008...incredible.
  6. Scratch my previous post regarding his contract extension...whatever decision the big man makes, I'll be happy with it.
  7. Drogba: "I want to dedicate this cup to all the managers we've had before, all the players I've played with before."
  8. Contract..contract..contract...and if anyone comes to argue with me again today; FUCK YOU.
  9. Kalou should exploit Contento more..if he puts his mind to it he can do great against him.
  10. With all the 'likes' you keep giving posters? Yeah right.... Please like this post
  11. My sentiments as well, always found his posts agreeable.
  12. DailyMail taking quotes from The Sun..just how much of that do you expect to be accurate?
  13. Luiz has faced Gomez on PlayStation Source: Goal.com
  14. Sorry, I should have worded it better. Its not exactly the longevity, but more of what they represent to the club as a whole, defining its playing style, etc. Hart, I can agree with. Richards is not exactly a mainstay like Terry.
  15. Right. But to me another major difference is that City can't say they have someone who's "City through and through", whereas Chelsea can say that they have Lampard and Terry who have been there for ages. This lends the team its character, I feel.
  16. Good job guys...hope to hear another one before the final.
  17. Don't think Torres AND Drogba will start together...although he has experimented playing both of them at the same time, he has not started a game with both on the pitch. Depending on Malouda's fitness things could change, but I think the most likely lineup upfront and in the mid will involve Lampard, Mikel, Kalou, Mata, Drogba/Torres and Sturridge/Essien/Malouda.
  18. On the bright side, he'll be in charge of their transfers
  19. Seeing those pics together...can you imagine what the Utd-Arsenal games are going to look like? Hopefully not too many of those next season...
  20. Barring the four pillars, I'd say it looks almost exactly like Stamford bridge from the outside. Nice design.
  21. That's the luxury of having a good targetman up front. They make up for any deficiencies in the middle of the park. The thing with Chelsea, is that whoever plays up front has to work hard to create chances for others as well. I didn't see today's game live to judge Lukaku's performance, but from the highlights, the cross he delivered to JT suggests there's another side to his game. Will he be able to truly emulate Drogba? I don't know for sure, but the signs show he can step up to the task.
