  1. Scored 2 good goals today. This guy could be great for Chelsea's central midfield.
  2. Yeah, its sometimes difficult to avoid draws at away games. And Swansea are a good side. Hopefully we can put in a good shift against Donetsk and use it to recover some momentum.
  3. Just love how people love to exaggerate when criticizing players. In case you didn't notice Sturridge scored a similar goal before that to put us in the lead.
  4. Why's everyone getting so upset over a damn list? 50 yrs from now (if humans are still around) there'll be a new list, and hardly anyone will remember this one. And what's the problem with Drogba being No.1? If the best players have made the top 10, who cares whether one is higher or lower than the other? They're all legends in my eyes...
  5. True..his real strength was his creativity, as a director not so much...Which is why Ep5 when directed by someone else, became perhaps the best in the series. And yeah its a shame that there's nothing original coming out. Everything seems to be a rehash of popular stuff from the 80's-90's. While it could be due to the lack of ideas, I think the real reason has more to do with studios looking to avoid risks in trying something different.
  6. Time for this guy to get some rest again. Need him fresh for the midweek clash.
  7. Lacked composure today, although he did well to go around the keeper for the fourth goal. I guess that means we'll see Torres starting as usual against Swansea.
  8. True. Its not the first time Valencia has caused Cole trouble. SAF knows that Cole is one of our main attacking outlets, and instructs him to hound Cole at every opportunity to wear him out.
  9. Absolutely agree...the Carling cup itself may be inconsequential, but a win can put us back in our stride..
  10. True, but it was the Jan transfer window, and we needed a striker who wouldn't take long to adapt to the PL. All the other strikers, including Neymar and Aguero were coming from different leagues. Of course it was a panic buy, but we didn't have much choice back then.
  11. I just hope our "pals" at the FA don't pay attention to that..
  12. True...the only other striker in contention at that point in time was Aguero, but that's a different matter..Cavani and Falcao were not exactly in the frame then
  13. Rooney can also serve as source of supply. If they're playing, Mikel, Ramires and Oscar will all have to work very hard.
  14. Whether its the truth or not, I just wish he would shut up. These agents are making the game less bearable...
  15. He doesn't like straying outside the comfort zone. The starting eleven doesn't change much except for maybe Cahill for Luiz or Lampard for Oscar. I suppose it was necessary though, in order to build up the team chemistry. That's important when playing against tough opposition. Hopefully from now on (after the Man Utd PL game) we'll see more rotation. Hopefully more width rather than always playing through the middle.
  16. I just wish he would ring in the changes faster when we're in dire situations..like when we were 2-0 down yesterday and 3-0 down against Athletico..
  17. Sturridge's pace could exploit United's leaky defense..hopefully he'll play a part.
  18. When he does, we'll have to look for new targets..like Manpe said, not every player can play at the highest level beyond 30+
  19. On the bright side, the reverse fixture against Shaktar is coming up next in the CL...It would have been hellish to play that one last, when its obviously going to be a crunch fixture...And the final game is at home against Nordsjaelland.. Then there's the Juventus game in between..Hopefully we can come away with a result there, making it easier..
  20. Sturridge for Oscar/Torres,..should've capitalized on some half-chances in that first half.
  21. Basically confirms what Seb was saying all along regarding his attitude..
  22. He'll have a part to play this season, even if it isn't a very big one.
