  1. And not to forget, Ramires has the balls the take important goals in a pressure situation.
  2. Our ultimate cup competition man could have, and probably should have got a few minutes to play in today's match. He could have come on for Costa during the last 15 mins
  3. In all fairness to Mikel, I don't know why Jose prefers him over Ramires especially when you already have Matic on the pitch.
  4. Lol @ the response at around the 9 min mark to...: "Are you going to be an Arsenal fan tomorrow?"
  5. In the all the interviews given since leaving Chelsea, he has been very grateful for the time he spent here...And also despite scoring more at Liverpool he never once said he valued his time over there more than at Chelsea
  6. Yeah, really noticed that when Shola Ameobi came on. I think out of our entire defensive line, only Cesar seems to be bold enough to make the challenges that are required. And of course, Ameobi chose to attack on Ivanovic's side (even if Cesar wasn't present)
  7. Don't forget this... (even if things turned sour in the end):
  8. There were a lot of talks happening when Chelsea were riding high in the league... Face it, we need to sort out our results first, and then Hazard's contract will come back into frame
  9. There's nothing unusual about it. A lot depends on how Chelsea performs this season. If there are less matches like the Tottenham and Southampton ones, were Hazard pulls in direction to get the result and the rest of the team doesn't , the better.
  10. I think it is starting to become a pattern..when we had that period in the first half, when we were swamping them and yet, not taking our chances...it instantly reminded me about the Sunderland game. The opposition doesn't do any *** in the first half, and they come out in the 2nd half and sucker-punch us. But man, was the defending lacklustre today. Cahill and Ivanovic need a hard look at themselves after those two goals.
  11. That's what Drogba is here to do..transfer that mentality of not letting your head drop into the rest of the team. Probably should have come on even in earlier in the match.
  12. Agree about Luis, but I would swap Schurrle and Willian. Willian does help against the smaller sides, and he was easily one of our better attackers last night. Schurrle on the other hand, is good when he runs into space and that's why he's done well against the likes of Bayern and City.
  13. Was he not fit today? I think Mourinho would have put him on in the second half, especially when Matic and Fabregas began to tire out in central midfield...hope he's available for the next game
  14. Why aren't we on the list? https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/photos/the-best-football-team-buses-in-the-world-slideshow/
  15. Never said anyone of them would become like Mourinho. I just said he would only teach the people who he wants to be taught
  16. You have to consider the possibility that Mourinho didn't want to teach them anything at all..considering how ultra-competitive he is, that wouldn't be surprising. His first "real" students might very well be his own players, namely the likes of Drogba and Terry, who will manage big names and teams probably only long after Mourinho hangs up his coat.
  17. No one can pull off facial expressions like Didier!
  18. Yep...the "Dirty Sanchez" look seems to be in vogue atm...
  19. No doubt, and if we had Ramires instead of Willian against Chris Smalling on the counter, we would have had a half-time lead at Old Trafford
  20. No surprise that Mourinho keeps at least two strikers on the pitch when trying to secure a goal in the last few minutes...
