  1. He didn't actually. He was asked if he agreed that 'Historically, Liverpool are the most successful club in England', he responded 'I suppose if you put it like that, yeah.'
  2. You get a pot of coffee and I'l start making the calls. We'll get him yet.
  3. Haha, Griezmann? Atletico are tied top of La Liga. He isn't going to leave a possible winning team for this joke of a club in January. I really doubt Reus will join Chelsea, especially the shambles it is in right now. I don't see under any circumstance him leaving the second best team in Germany for an English team that isn't even in the Champions League. I really doubt David Luiz would return to Chelsea especially after all that has happened. Chelsea don't 'need' money from a Hazard sale. Chelsea isn't some no mark club with no money, Chelsea only sells when it wants to. FFP is a joke. I appreciate the optimism, but damn. That's a dream scenario.
  4. He should really be starting over Courtois given his form.
  5. 'One source said' Haha, what type of bullshit reporting is this? Nonsense clickbait article.
  6. Mourinho's siege and underdog mentality doesn't work when the team just won trophies. I bet he ruffles the players feathers when he tries to make them feel like underdogs when they fully well know they are among the best in England. I bet the players wanted to expand their style of play becoming even more cavalier and attacking as opposed to Mourinho's preferred 'strangle out the victory at any cost'. If Mourinho goes to Manchester United he will win the league. They've been underperforming for a long time and his siege mentality will light a fire under their arses.
  7. Me neither but I do see Guardiola taking the job for one reason. To rub it in Mourinho's face.
  8. Despite everything; he has talent and has shown it in the past. If the transfer isn't that pricey surely he is worth a chance? He couldn't be worse than Falcao and Costa are at the moment. His injuries are overblown right now. He has played 150 matches in the last three years. That is impressive. @Rmpr, I trust you've seen him a lot in Brazil? Is he rubbish? Is he still a partier?
  9. Well, he is 100% right, isn't he? The guy definitely showed something else against Leicester, so hopefully he can at least get on form.
  10. Alex was very good for a period of time. Who can forget those FKs of his?
  11. I'm racking my brains for any home-grown players outside of clubs like Liverpool, the Manchesters and the London clubs. They won't sell so no point discussing them. There really isn't many and those that are possible would cost a lot. I think the club should take a long hard look at some of the promising players in the Championship. Will Hughes, for instance.
  12. There was a rare and mysterious sighting of Fabregas' skill and guile today.
  13. They are in their mid 20s and 30s, they should know that by now. They proved they can do it in the past. They don't need to be taught.
  14. I feel like maybe Mourinho's time in the sun has come. Football goes in cycles and when he came to prominence he was the undisputed best. From 2003 to 2010, it was arguable he was the hands down best manager of the planet. That was a long time ago, things have changed the 4-4-2 died and revived in the last year or so. Tiki-Taka and the 4-2-3-1 came to prominence and both fell out of vogue. Incredibly high pressing became the norm as did technical CBs. Fullbacks became secondary wingers, prototypical #10s have all but died out, being forced wide or into central midfield. Failure to adapt and evolve means death. I wrote a haiku based on Darwinian evolution which is my allegory to Jose Mourinho. A white peppered moth Floats in the Manchester sky The sons are now black
  15. I'm not buying that any manager could turn this morons around. Maybe the team would improve a little but I'd be surprised if any substantial came from it.
  16. If I had to watch another second of Torres at Chelsea I'd blow my brains out with Kurt Cobain's shotgun. Not saying that Costa has been better this season but I have had my fill of Fernie T.
  17. To be honest every time the club wins probably sets the club back further. It just kind of covers up the rotten underbelly. On a positive note, Cesc has been sooo much better.
  18. Remy should start. The fuck did Costa say to Schmeichel?
  19. Costa is making a rookie beard growing mistake. He is shaving to close to his jawline making it look jarring. A great beard is shaved just under the jawline and above the adam's apple. The only thing worse is his form.
  20. A RARE SIGHTING OF A C. FABREGAS
