I have trouble using the word 'paedophile' in these circumstances. She is underage that is true but she is also at an age where she has control over her actions and at least some self-awareness. This is very much a 'two to tango' type situation. He is an idiot for doing it, there is no other word for it. I just question his motivations; did he engage in sexual acts with this girl because he is aroused by the idea of her being underage or did he do it because he simply can and as a footballer gets the women he wants and this is no different? Now, I'm reluctant to call him a paedophile because when I think of that disgusting word I conjure up images of peoples that are sexually attracted to prepubescent children.
