Dark horses for the Euros, perhaps? They've some interesting players. A couple of favourable draws and decisions is all it takes.

This Turk generation isn't half bad either.

I agreed with many of his points. I'm not emotionally invested in a BBS to ban someone for disagreeing with me. Oh, on the point of Jim making money...why do you think he needs large donations every month? I'm not a professional. I've made myself transparent, if you want this rectified as I said earlier take it up with another staff member. I stand by my actions. The reason I didn't ban him earlier was that I was unaware how many warnings he had, not until I viewed his profile just the otherday did it become clear to me as I feel retrospectively these decisions need to be made, which is opposite to yourself. Now, we can keep talking in circles or we can put this to rest. Alternatively take it up with another staff member, because as I keep saying it can be overturned.

They can't see the forest for the trees. Or perhaps they are just focused on their brand image. Jose Mourinho is still the big dog when it comes to fame and marketability in the stratosphere of managers.

It was nothing in particular recently to give me cause. I suppose it severely irked me that in the past he for some reason had been given preferential treatment and past staff members didn't act upon the rules; that being three warning and then a banning. It's only fair, is it not? Though I hate to admit it, I'd wager I'm far more stern and have less patience than the past staff. Maybe it's a bad thing? I don't know. I suppose the most recent meltdown broke back vivid memories of the past which in turn made my patience thin. It was just more of the same Term-X same style, same rhetoric, throughout all the years. Our friend cap was given two warnings not three, why is another given 22? There seems to be a lot of leeway with the rules, some get given many, many chances, others less so. I suppose I'd like to even it all out and stick by the three strike out limit. This isn't something I'd like to make a habit of, banning out of the blue, this is me rectifying what I believe to be a past mistake. Maybe I read his posts in a far more snide manner, a holier than thou attitude, much like several others of the past and that has a certain degree of influence. It's not something I can help, but I hope you can at least understand my rationale. Maybe I'm reading it all wrong, text can be a fickle thing you know, it's in the eye of the beholder. A hastily thrown together paragraph can give several different messages to different people. Perhaps, I saw a user that had no interest in debates or learning but simply proving why they are right and why the manner they think is the only manner acceptable.

Real may score goals for fun but you must appreciate what Higuain is working with. Not only was he not preferential to Benzema but he also had to compete with Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite it all, Ronaldo is the backbone, the brain and everything of Real Madrid. Higauin has scored many important goals for all of his club, and yes he did have a terrible run of 2013/14 but never doubt this Argentine's ability. To score 120+ goals for a team that not only focuses on another forward but actively chooses another centre forward is nothing short of an amazing job. If it were so easy past failed strikers would have scored many more for Real, and aged van Nistelrooj, Huntelaar, Adebayor, Soldado, Negreo...you know the tune. I feel it is the zeitgeist to write off Higuian for three incidents. World Cup, Copa Sudamericana and that Champions League ending penalty miss. However those are only three instances in a long career of consistency and improvement. The intelligence and guile of Gonzalo trumps Romulu's power in my eyes.

Lampard, Pedro Rodriguez, kits, 'most controversial member' 22 (read twenty-two) warnings 19 more than everyone else gets, that TC Legend incident of yesteryear. Care to make a case for him? I just don't see the positives of what he brought to the dinner table. Maybe you do, because it's all subjective in the end, right? I felt like he should have been gone a long time ago, not that I had anything against the man himself, I just felt his regular meltdowns and repetitions were detrimental to the progression of any discussion or thread. Hell, if you feel strongly about it being unfair, petition another staff member to redact the ban, I won't stop you or they. I made a call, felt it was the right one and stand by the decision. To be frank, the passion dwindles as does the need to be loved. Maybe this is something I've mulled on for a while now and came to the conclusion no matter how unpopular it'd make me, for it simply no longer matters.

Ambition for what? What is he to gain in England that he isn't already offered at Roma? The Giallorossi are a well run club that regularly challenge for all domestic honours in Italy contasted to Chelsea they are a lot closer to achieving their ambitions. Chelsea are a project that needs time and patience whereas Roma are within four wins of being champions and in fact Roma recorded the least amount of losses this Serie A season, with their inability to turn draws into wins being their downfall. Despite what the media and it's fans would have you believe, the Premier League is not the end all, be all of European football. There is glory to be found in many other countries.

Is it ever really necessary? He could always come back if he truly desired... it's just a couple of clicks really. I've told the others they can do what they wish, I won't impose myself it it's the unpopular thing to do. All I want is this place to be free of elitism. If I have to go next, then show me the door, maybe I'm just as bad if not worse. Maybe I did wrong thing, maybe it was the right thing. How am I supposed to know? Everything has backlash, I've grown so tired. Maybe it's my turn next, to disappear. Though I'm sure I won't be as missed as several years ago, my time in the sun has passed.

Name: Term-X Reason: Rotten attitude, condescending and posts his opinions in a near obsessive fashion. Always tip toeing along that line of what is acceptable and what isn't. Punishment: Ability to create content removed permanently.

Have faith and optimism, friend. Don't let pessimism win, only when the day comes should you worry about it. Surely, the folks in charge are blind to a young man being voted 'Watford's player of the season'?
-
All everyone does on here is complain about him. I really don't think he even qualifies for 'overrated'.

Is Belgian nationalism on the rise? Commonly these sort of movements occur due to an influx of immigrants that threaten a culture. Personally, I'm an advocate of cultural assimilation. Being an immigrant myself I have first hand experience of this. I don't try to change the way the USA is but I also conform to their norms and whatnot. Of course I keep my own cultural identity but I don't force it upon others, I came here, it's my job to fit in, not the country to fit around me.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't hate. Sort of how I feel about you. Besides, I'm an equal opportunist, I'll give Nike all the hate I gave Adidas.
-
Looks like it has a built in training bra like the 09/10 kit. I hate it.

I actually have experience living in Eastern-Bloc. I lived their for twelve years and believe it or not I was the subject of a very controversial documentary.

Yeah mate, sorry about posting a pic of you without your permission. I'll delete it if you like.

My god you actually know nothing of UA. They don't even make any kits for any professional American teams. American sports have zero sponsors on the kit. You are telling me that what is worn in Europe is more stylish? You like being a bilboard? Are you actually sitting behind your computer pretending to know about US sports and UA? To generalise a third of damned population of the globe in one sentence, fuck sake. What are you going to say next? This is stylish? You make some good points in the latter half of your post but the first sentence... I don't mean to sounds so aggressive btw
-
Good for you.
-
I don't buy kits so at the end of the day I really don't care that much.
-
I'm sure if John Terry was upset about it he would have settled it. I'm sure the two of them know eachother well enough.
-
Yeah, how dare he play with an enthusiastic young child. Why are you getting offended for John Terry?

I was 100% surprised when I first noticed it. I had only ever known UA as that company that makes the compression undershirts/shorts. People wear their casual line in the States everywhere. I feel it is quickly becoming an ingrained fashion line. Of course, don't get me wrong Nike and Adidas are still by far the bigger brands but don't underestimate the power of UA. I like the new kit, really. I don't understand why people don't. It is at the very least something different.
-
You Europeans don't know this because yourselves live in your Nike/Adidas bubble but in the United States; Under Armor is one of if not the biggest growing sportswear company. I promise you, go to any sports store in America and you'll find stacks of Nike, Adidas and Under Armor. You lot really, really underestimate that company. A company doesn't endorse the most talented American footballer and basketballer and the biggest hitter in baseball by accident. Those players being Tom Brady, Steph Curry, and Bryce Harper respectively. It even has it's fingers in two of the largest market NA sports teams Chicago Cubs and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Cam Newton, Michael Phelps, Andy Murray; all leading athletes in their sports. UA are killing it and are only on the rise.

Kind of embarrassing when one player scores more than six other teams.
