  1. This whole Pokemon Go business is embarrassing.
  2. I blame Benfica for that price tag. It's just a pissing contest between CP and Benfica on whose darling midfielder can be sold for the most. I hope you had fun the other day, btw.
  3. I like how everyone mocks and jokes but deep down they know they've done some stupid things like that.
  4. I agree with a lot of people here. Yes, to this guy. He is no Renato Sanches but he is very talented.
  5. On another note; protests in Atlanta are how protests should be done. No violence, looting, rioting. A few arrests but nothing sinister. The police and the citizens should be proud of how smoothly these restless days are going.
  6. Canada's wing of BLM is really weird. First they refused to sell a person a 'BLM' t-shirt because they are white and second they shut down the Toronto Gay Pride parade. http://www.therebel.media/blm_s_demand_to_remove_police_float_from_toronto_pride_insulting_after_orlando_terror_attack I can't say I can support an organisation that promotes that sort of censorship. The blind are leading the blind.
  7. It's skewed due to the lower population of blacks in the US but the overwhelming majority of police murders are white and hispanic people. What also is skewed is the crazy amount of crime black people commit in relation to their population. To me that says that everyone is a potential target and just that blacks are more likely in certain scenarios (high crime suburbs, lower development, et al). It's a black problem but it's an everyone problem, this isn't my subjective opinion this is a cold hard fact: people are dying. Saying it's a black problem dismisses the fact that police in this country are trained to kill and kill they do, it's a deeply rooted problem that goes beyond skin colour (in some cases I believe racism is the crux but that is too simple for all cases). It's a national, cultural, personal and everyone problem. This could just be semantics between ourselves but this is an issue for everyone to take a stand against. http://www.dailywire.com/news/7264/5-statistics-you-need-know-about-cops-killing-aaron-bandler http://www.washingtonpost.com/sf/investigative/wp/2015/12/26/2015/12/26/a-year-of-reckoning-police-fatally-shoot-nearly-1000/ http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/chapman/ct-cops-black-lives-matter-dallas-shootings-killings-perspec-0710-jm-20160708-column.html
  8. It's a spiral of hatred and violence. Nobody (outside of the extremly insane and dangerous) deserves this. Police are nuts, people need to realise they aren't just killing black people. Everyone is getting their asses murdered. Look at this; http://killedbypolice.net/ Click on any link and you'll be shown a person killed. I want people to realise this isn't a black problem, this is a people problem. Don't feel threatened because of your skin, feel threatened because you live!
  9. I don't think many of these players are comparable! I'd put Kroos, Modric, Verrati in one style. Vidal and Matuidi in another. Iniesta, Busquets and Pogba in their very own. To be frank, the player Pogba reminds me most of is Yaya Toure at Man City, the version that never bothered to defend and was a powerful offensive midfielder.
  10. Change the manager as much as you like but that'll never change the attitude and culture of English footballers. This is deeper than simply exchanging bits, English sports as deep grassroots issues. Naught will change until the FA and coaching does. For starters it took an Australian to change how England play union. Before him, English union was penalty kicks with a little tackling in between. Even then it's only skin deep and it'll change the next Pommy that is in charge.
  11. Are there no players that have a similar style to Bashuayi? Who do you think he play similar to?
  12. Why are they even being compared? Because they are big and black? Lukaku was compared to Drogba for years despite having nothing in common.
  13. He can't buy new players for England. Good luck with finding the English equivalents of Okocha and Djorkaef
  14. They are different people at different clubs, playing with different people to start with. Maybe if it were his clone, we could talk all day. Lukaku is a lazy moron anyway.
  15. Building from the back, skipping the midfield, and straight to the big number nine.
  16. I live on the east coast of the States, three hours ahead of everywhere else in the states. It was 10:00pm July 3rd when you made your post, two hours away from July 4th.
  17. They also had Xavi, Villa, Torres, Puyol, Capdevilla, and Alonso. Not even mentioning the fact that it was early Tiki-Taka days, before it had been dissected, countered and forgotten. Never forget Aragones. Spain would have won with or without Fabregas during those days, I'm sure of it.
  18. I wouldn't say impressive, more indicative of Italy's lack of a quality target-man.
  19. It was 4th of July in America when you posted.
  20. Being proven in the Premier League is worth diddly squat compared to being proven at Chelsea
  21. Except in the country that actually celebrates that day/
  22. He is so bad he looped around into one of the best players of the Euro 16 tournament.
  23. I can't stand looking at him. That throat tattoo is plain ugly. Fantastic football though
