Come on are people still going on about Emanalo? He is just a glorified scout and academy head. Just a cog.
-
Except on Football Manager where Lazio only sell him for over 25,000,000 Some of those crosses he swings into the box are bloodly well fantastic. Seems like he is an awesome winger from what I've seen.

What on earth are you talking about? This is a complete false equivalency. Vidal would have been signed as a first team starter, Giaccherini as depth and cover. Comparing the two situations, players and scenarios is completely asinine and beyond pointless. Signing one doesn't negate the signing of the other, as earlier they would fulfil different needs. Next I'll be bloody well told that squad depth like Belletti was a terrible transfer.

Considering he can play just about any position and wouldn't be a starter I'd take him. Nothing wrong with a utility player.

Or a huge widow's peak.

Piss off, buzzcuts are fantastic.

They could just be lovers.

Not necessarily. Abidal wasn't exactly known for his technical prowess yet the balance he gave to the side was unprecedented. He would cover almost as a third CB when Dani Alves was diving forward, or even Pique for that matter. If Azpicueta can give Barcelona that kind of balance once again with Alba forcing forward on the right, they'd definitely work.

Not every player needs to be a twenty year-old diamond in the rough. Sometimes a team needs players that are in their late 20s or early 30s. The rejection of players due to age isn't always smart. Three years of a player at his peak is sometimes needed over a player that needs three years to develop.

That is pretty much what he is. Sure on the team sheet he is listed as the attacking mid but he is scarcely in that position on the actual pitch.

People over criticise Oscar and overrate this guy. The grass is greener on the other side.

You do know that the Native Americans weren't exactly tactful with their own techniques of preserving the buffalo? They'd driven entire hoards off the side of a hill to kill them sometimes just for a single cut of meat. http://nationalhumanitiescenter.org/tserve/nattrans/ntecoindian/essays/buffalo.htm Besides that happened two hundred years after first colonisation, I'm not saying what the Americans did with the buffalo in the 19th century was in any way okay, I'm just simply stating there is simply a lot more to the demise of the Native American peoples than massacres/genocides/slaughter and whatever other synonyms you have.

Brings nothing new to the club. Not much of an improvement over Oscar, for myself.

The Spanish fellas I chat with say he isn't that overrated or terrible but a fairly solid player that could improve immensely in the future. I do however, agree that he isn't worth 40m. Sounds a little like Dembele, shame he doesn't have the balance. Shows flashes of Kaka, but nothing more than flashes. A single good game in the Euros people who have only seen him play once are hyping him.

Come now, you know that most North Americans died due to Europeans having in/active diseases such as small pox and that it's categorisation as a 'genocide' is debated. It wasn't simply a methodical extermination like the Jewish and Armenian Genocides, there is much, much more to the colonisation of North American than that. There were massacres and there was violence but I'd wager the vast, vast majority died because some guy sneezed and the wind carried it. It all happened over such a long time with so many different incidents, causes and motivations. Maybe it was a genocide but when that word comes to mind I think of the two aforementioned examples.

Despite all the terrible events around the world I still find time to engage in schadenfreude for those that were a part of the Bernie Sanders cult. Not his supporters but those that hinged their entire life on his candidacy, even going so far as to tattoo the man's face on their bodies.

A lot of English (the nationality, not just the language) commentators pronounce his name that way for some reason.
