Frank and the club have agreed everything most likely. I suspect we at the stage of lawyers double checking everything and payment being made. Or, sorting out whose coming with him
-
"Might" get some sort of indication tomorrow as he is due back at Derby with his staff to plan for Monday. I think he will turn up as he is a decent guy, but it makes you wonder if he and Jody know they are coming here, why bother planning anything of your own choice? Or, maybe just maybe, dare i say it, he is not coming
-
yeh Newton does the loans. Flo is there, too. John Harley is/was
-
I get your point but Cech's a highly intelligent man with a good knowledge of football, he is simply there to assist with performance analysis and advisory role. think he may have a say in recruitment too but he is not the negotiator so to speak, but then again Marina had never ever done anything of the sort before coming with Roman, and she is a good negotiator - have to get experience somewhere, and where better than your club. I can also understand the "jobs for the boys" line when it comes to Morris, Makelele, Drogba etc but i think Morris is almost a necessity if we plan to bring 3 or 4 youth players into the squad next year. Knows them better than most. Not totally convinced yet that Drogba or Makelele will infact return. I imagine Lampard will bring Morris, Jones and shay Given with him. Johnny Hollins was a total different era of course, although he did win the Full members cup in that epic v City lol
-
In the video with Rio, Drogba definitely knows what is happening.
-
Cech bleeds blue, fucking Arsenal divvys thinking he is one of them. Ashley loves us as does Cesc, drink it in gooners
-
Definitely going to be Frank. No question. Sorting the DoF out first makes sense i suppose, i reckon Lampard will be very soon
-
be soon i imagine
-
End of the week would be Friday, we haven't even contacted Derby at all, yet I know Sarri only left Sunday, and I for one think Lampard is nailed on (IMO), but I am really surprised we haven't at least got compo sorted with Derby. I know Frank is on holidays but he wil have an agent in UK to tie up loose ends. I have a feeling our board may also just be putting feelers out elsewhere, too.
-
di marzio has not even reported it. Some other guy has..
-
If/when the news breaks "Chelsea make formal contact with Derby" etc; that is basically the endgame. That process used to start at the beginning, nowadays it is done once you have already got the managers contract sorted. Lampard and Chelsea I am almost certain, have already spoken, or still are
-
so whats goign on then, they taken it down or what?
-
real or fake? https://www.chelseafc.com/en/videos/v/2019/06/14/maurizio-sarri-g2eXd4aDE6wNl-jJhKlT38lDEsj3Bvsw

they have quite clearly got the days wrong, but they are absolutely right in that he is going. Any chance of it being false rumours are long gone
-
i think lampard will be done and announced soon i think we can all assume the wheels have been in motion for lampard, even since all this sarri talk started
-
Matt Law is very hit and miss i find though, weirdly always seems to have "his" stories once theyve already broke or been reported elsewhere. Anyway, yeh, FSW is just not happening, we do not need a journo to tell us that !
-
probably all down to paperwork, lawyers etc etc
-
I never trust half of what managers say in public. Because I can bet you 100% if you had spoke to Sarri privately he'd tell you he is sick of the fans booing him, prefers Italy and Serie A, is fed up of this and that etc. They have to say the right things in public as it can lead to a breach of contract believe it or not, if they bad mouth the club or a member of staff. They have to make sure everything they say is what the club wants to hear and the fans. They can show their frustration but usually when its to do with performances and stuff. My guess (and i mean total guess) is Juve contacted him a long long time ago stating they were sacking Allegri in the summer and would he like the job. He has obviously said he'd be interested, and then agreed terms. Sarri, his reps, and Juventus; and our club, then waited for the Europa League to finish and then sat down with the club and said "he wants to go to juve, how can we make this happen" I DO believe Sarri and Juventus have had this planned for absolutely ages, and there was never any chance of him staying

The Times there, right on the button as always. It will be Lampard, though
-
Sarr is not better than Allegri IMO. Conte better than both though, by far

Why Chelsea should not attempt to freeze their transfer ban
ChelseaFanUK replied to James's topic in Chelsea Articles
The part where you ask them to freeze it under article R37 is completely seperate to the appeal. They are 2 different things altogether, I think for now we have just made sure the appeal is in, and IMO will ask to freeze it in next week or 2 -
Chelsea banned for TWO transfer windows
ChelseaFanUK replied to xPetrCechx's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Its nonsense. "get the ban extended if they are seen to be simply trying to delay it" Which CAS actually allow you to do as part of their own rules. CAS even freeze it themselves sometimes!! He is so wrong on this one Matt Law IMO -
Chelsea banned for TWO transfer windows
ChelseaFanUK replied to xPetrCechx's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
They cannot extend the ban if they think we are taking the piss, Matt Law is wrong. im sure of it. We are simply appealing a 2 window ban and as yet have not asked for it to be frozen. Which by the way, we are absolutely entitled to do as is any other club, its part of the procedure. To say they could turn round and stick another window or 2 on top because we simply wanted it frozen, is absurd IMO Its like getting arrested and sentenced to 15 yrs in jail, appealing it and the judge deciding "fuck it you can have 25yrs instead" Its rubbish. The appeal process is there for a reason -
compromise will be reached by end of next week if they really want him.

Momblano aka shit stirrer.
