  1. “We didn’t have any contact, we never even thought about it, because [Guardiola] is under contract, for a thousand reasons. Paratici the Juve Sporting Director, plus you got Pep in a press conference saying no chance he goes to Juventus, he is staying for 2 more yrs at least, unless City fire him And Juventus fans still think he will take over!! I'll have whatever theyre smoking
  2. The Pep to Juve stuff has been ridiculed by City's board member, who said him and Nedved laughed about it, it was such rubbish. Pep himself! Yet some geezer called Momblano keeps peddling the shit. His reputation is going to be absolutely ruined i suspect.
  3. but that was only the opinion of Adam Digby, not actual news. No chance in hell Pep is going there, zero Pedulla is close to Sarri, i think he is more likely to be right out of them all, whatever happens
  4. Pedulla is hinting that Sarri is off. private flight booked to italy for saturday, was agreed 3 weeks ago that we'd go seperate ways. havent read full article, though
  5. you cant deny him another season no, but part of me thinks he might want the Juventus gig, too
  6. so out in the open then, whats everyones gut feeling? given all the italian media stories, the dimarzio report of his agent meeting us to sort out an exit, but Sarri giving nothing away definitively, is he off or staying?
  7. Could make us more inclined to keep him (even though some say tonight was irrelevant) or it could make Juventus more determined to get him. We have been here before and sacked people harshly, i trust nothing with us
  8. I am keen to see how some of the, literally, embarrassing Sarri accounts on twitter react if he goes. When i say embarrassing it is because they have almost made it Sarri FC and defend absolutely everything he does
  9. If Lamps comes in, he wont be sacked in his first year, at all. Lampard coming in, if it happens, would be a kind of peace offering from the board. After Sarri's tenure went down like a shit in an elevator. Lampard could finish bottom half and i genuinely dont think he'd get the boot first season. honest... call me dull
  10. Can see him going, and staying, oddly. Im slightly leaning towards the fact he could well be off No flat out denials from Juventus, Sarri or anyone else close to the supposed talks.
  11. Lampard coming here in the boards eyes will ease the fan discontent towards them the fans will give Lampard a much easier ride should we lose a few games on the bounce Like I said before (i think) Cech coming back is part of this new 'start'.
  12. It's almost obvious to me that Sarri is on the way out
  13. Lampard, Morris and JT tick the boxes if we plan on keeping the ban as they will use the academy. They wont use a whole lot of the players as some will no doubt think, but they will use some
  14. meeting on Thursday dimarzio says between Fali Ramadani and Marina to sort Sarri's exit. Multiple Italian media, including La Stampa of Turin; all pointing to Sarri now. Seems it could well be true. Way too much noise to be guesswork.
  15. "club stands by their statement that they will appeal it" if that journo is right, wha are we panicking over?
  16. After the Europa League final is when you will really get an idea of what is happening.
  17. No one from Juventus has shot down the rumour though, which is interesting considering they sometimes do It's 50-50 at the minute, i would not be surprised with either scenario. I think the Sarri disconnect with fans is what might see him leave, though
  18. a lot kinda expected Sarri to go anyway as the disconnect with fans is huge.
  19. we havent appealed apparently because we need the written reasons off FIFA first. You then submit your appeal against those written reasons. Right now even though the decision has been made, we need it in writing otherwise we are appealing against nothing... believe it or not. So that is why the appeal and request to freeze havent been made, we have notified CAS of an intention to appeal i guess, though
  20. we all know with another season, lets say with a ban, by xmas he will be out. No question
  21. We only had to notify CAS of our intention to appeal. Which we have done, as the club itself confirmed we would on its website. IF we wanted a bit of advice on the likely outcome, we'd have done that before publicly announcing we were going to CAS. Could simply be that the paperwork and case is still being combed over by our lawyers. The appeal wouldn't have gone in same day as the statement.
  22. ISnt that July for the outcome of our appeal? It wont take them 2 months to decide to freeze the ban or not. Be reasonable
  23. typical end of season game. Stumbled to 3rd admittedly, but got there is all that matters. Big changes needed IMO in the squad and board. Will they happen? Doubt it
