fans giving Lampard time as manager is not absurd at all. We have been crying out for someone with a chelsea identity to get involved, we now have it. Cech as potentially DoF, Jody Morris, Lamps, maybe JT. You wont anywhere near the same dissent in the stands with them lot, as we did Sarri. Not even close You wont hear songs "Lampard out" or any of that stuff.

i'll tell you why its lampard. Lampard will get a year to settle in (managerially), examine the squad and integrate a few, not a lot, youth players albeit with the recommendation of Jody Morris. Next summer after evaluation he will then have a clear idea who goes, and who stays. During that year while we have a ban in place and a manager who the board will expect to get a much easier ride should we lose games, than say Sarri did

yes, it could be that Sarri wants to go. I have no doubt he loves it here and loves the premier league. But he is being offered more money and a return to his native homeland with the champions.
