AJ is not a winger either in the traditional sense, he is a left footed inside forward that plays on the right. I agree that Sturridge is best used as CF, but thats not going to happen at Chelsea anytime soon.

He wears #27 for Palermo and before that he wore #6. For Argentina i have seen him wear # 18,16,21, and 23. For marketing purposes i think he should wear #10.

tbh I don't have much of a expectation from Benayoun, so in a way i was pleased with performance. As i said he played well but i just don't think his performance was headliner worthy or anything special. truly disagree with you on benayoun being innovative, i didn't see any creativity or innovation from him. Motm from me was Paulo Ferreira, i thought he played very well going forward. Lamps performance was interesting indeed, i think for him to keep his place as a regular in the future he will have to play in deeper role like today.

average player, he will be another Malouda or Zhirkov signing. He might give you some good games, but in 2 or 3 years you will have to find a replacement because he is not good enough to make a starting position his own.

BS rumor most likely. But M'vila is a special player, just turned 21 and already a regular for France NT. His reading of the game is absolutely amazing for such a young age, he is also a freakish athlete and that is a deadly combination. Potential best in the world at his position.

Bastos is a nice player; strong left leg, good pace, versatile enough to play LW, LM, and LB. Very similar to Zhirkov, but with less injuries. But not sure if he is good enough for Chelsea.
