If we are going to sign another striker i prefer Falcao over Lukaku.

Sturridge was never going to be a CF for us, the club has always thought of him as a replacement for Anelka on the RW. Can this Hulk fellow play on the left?

Hulk is not a winger, but he was excellent for Porto on the right side this season. I believe Sturridge will be given a similar opportunity to play on the right side, i don't believe the club has any intention of playing him as a striker, unless Torres continues to flop. Hulk will be a good alternative if we don't sign Neymar, he has a better right foot then Sturridge so i like him to play on the left side. If we don't give Sturridge the opportunity, i believe he will go somewhere else. The kid is ambitious and i don't think he would fancy going back to the Chelsea bench.

Hulk------Torres--------Sturridge looks good to me.

Basically This Too bad we have Torres, because Sturridge and Falcao would've been a great partnership. Hulk can play as a wing forward, he is more needed imo.

Spurs cannot afford Essien, his wages are too much for them. So a Essien and Modric exchange wont happen.

If the kid intends to leave Barca, much better clubs will be calling.

lol at Thiago going to Roma, the kid can do much better then Roma. We were interested in Thiago in the past, even before he joined Barca. It is unlikely we sign him, but it is worth paying attention to.

They are not the same, Cesc was born in Catalonia and he has strong tie to Barcelona, He joined Barca at a very young age btw. While Thiago was not born in Catalonia and he joined the club at the age of 15-16. The attachment to the club is not the same. I think Csec will leave this summer. It is a personal request from Guardiola to sign Csec, but if the club president gets his way they wont sign him. ultimately Guardiola will pressure the club until they get a deal done. Thiago's father has hinted that his son will go somewhere else if Csec arrives. He could leave Barca but i think it will be somewhere else. I would rather go for him then Modric tbh. They are chasing Csec because Guardiola and some of the senior players want him back. This Thiago is class btw, although no chance we get him. But the club should try anyway.

I didn't watch the U21 game so i cant say how he played. Are u sure he didn't play as SS? He only played a few games at CAM for Valencia and he didn't play well, their midfield got bossed everytime because he doesn't drop back enough.

Mata is not a CAM, he is a left winger/SS. Whenever he played CAM for Valencia he failed horribly. He would be a good alternative to Neymar but that is about it.

I love the Chelsea fans mentality, if we cant sign a winger like Neymar then lets just sign more strikers. How about we don't sign Aguero, and save our self 45m and the play Sturridge if you want to play 4-4-2.
