Does anybody know why Josh is played as holding midfielder in preseason?

I guess i should've said the kid is a bright prospect and rated highly by Barca. I guess who knows if he is a good signing or not. Signing Romeu is a small risk and high reward. not much can go wrong. GDS is still decent player and time is on his side so he can turn around his career. But poor work ethic seems to be his problem.

Torres scored 18 goals in 22 games in 09/10 PL competition, that is pretty good for a shitty player. I still can't believe some of you are calling the Torres signing a mistake after 3 months. the problem is we need a trequartista to successfully run that formation, we currently don't have anyone on the squad who could play in the hole. If you are going to play two strikers upfront then why not play Sturridge?

If Aguero is signed then he would have to play out wide, so you have to ask is it wise to pay 45m for a CF then play him out of position?

My biggest concern in MF is that we have no one to replace Lampard, it hurts me to say this but Lampard is finished, he might start the season but i guarantee you he won't end the season. He doesn't have the legs to play at a high level. We are linked with players like Parker and Modric, none of them have the attribute to score goals and play the final pass. it is funny Liverpool has already found a replacement for Gerrard at age 30, while we haven't even considered finding replacement for Lampard at age 33 btw what is this nonsense about finding a replacement for Essien? we already brought one last year in Ramires. last year he was by far better then Essien anyway.

I am against these type of signing, i was against the Benayoun signing and now i am against the potential signing of Parker. We just don't need anymore average players. So i see after two preseason games people around here thinking Benayoun is a good player.

Its not true, Madrid are getting Ade as a 3rd striker for now and Neymar will also arrive. Higuain and Falcao are very similar players, there would be no point. If it was true i guarantee you AS would be the first to report it.

I don't know Aguero personally so i can't for sure know what his thought process would be. But i do know that a person with Aguero talent could do better then City, with all the things you said City can offer and i am not convinced City is that desirable.
