Is this rumor even worth discussing? This guy went from being one of the most underrated players to arguably the most overrated player in the PL, quite accomplishment by him and the media.

Maybe it is Real Madrid they are waiting for, because it is commonly known that Aguero wants to play for Real Madrid and they can pay the most for him.

I do agree that our foremost priority should be a winger and creative midfielder, which i believe will be addressed by AVB. But adding another MF is still vital if Essien is out for a substantial time, Because if one of Ramires or Mikel goes down with a serious injury next season then we will be in crisis mode. I really don't think Lampard, Ramires, Mikel, Josh, and Creative MF is enough for next year campaign. We need further reinforcement and buy a cheap MF right now then significantly overpay for similar in a quality player in January.

Personally I don't get all the outrage, he is injury prone and he is reaching his 30's. Not a bid deal if we sell him, he can easily be replaced.

he is somewhat talented but the thing is i don't think he has the football intelligence to make it at Chelsea, he makes too many bad choices which lead too many bad end products and that is something we see on a regular basis with Kalou and Malouda. these are the type of footballers i just can't stand. His character is another concern for me. Antonio Valencia on the other hand i rate very highly because he has high football intelligence.

If i was Essien i would seriously consider retiring because i don't see him coming back at full strength after the series of injuries he has want through. I also don't think his age is legit.

There is a difference between Riquelme and Pastore, Riquelme is perfectly suited to play the AM position for Argentina in a 4-3-3 flat, he plays much deeper in midfield then Pastore. Riquelme is similar to Lampard and Gerrard while Pastore plays higher on the pitch similar to Kaka and Ozil. Messi drops far deeper then any CF, his position is occupying the Trequartista space. For Argentina to play Pastore they would have to change their formation, maybe 4-2-3-1 in which Pastore would play behind Messi. But this would not allow Messi the freedom and space to drop back in which he likes to do a lot for Barca and NT, and if you do this you are not getting the most effective messi on the pitch. If they had Riquelme there would be no need for formation changes, because can fit into the current 4-3-3 flat without any changes. Riquelme and Pastore are simply different players. Riquelme just happens to be much more versatile and what Argentina needs atm.

Tevez is nowhere near as marketable as Torres. Torres will pump more revenue into the club in one year then Tevez can in his entire career. Torres has the highest selling kit in the league, and Chelsea will receive half of Torres image rights. Every commercial or advertise Torres does Chelsea will profit. let me just remained you that Torres is by far the most popular player at Chelsea and has the largest followers around the world, and that means some serious revenue for the club. Business decision plays a big role into buying a player especially at Chelsea. On the pitch Torres is by far the better then Tevez, calling Torres a flop after 3 months shows just shows how fickle you are. btw the reason Tevez costed so low for City is because his contract was winding down at United.

I blame Carlo for the mis-firing Torres. Torres lacked confidence and Carlo didn't do him any favor and his decision making was idiotic. He started Torres in high pressure games against excellent teams like Pool,United, City and Spuds. While he benched Torres against some of the poorest side in the PL and those games gave him a better chance to regain his confidence and score goals. If it was under another manger Torres would've found the back of the net a lot more. Another reason why i am so glad the overrated Carlo is sacked.
