tbh I don't have much of a expectation from Benayoun, so in a way i was pleased with performance. As i said he played well but i just don't think his performance was headliner worthy or anything special. truly disagree with you on benayoun being innovative, i didn't see any creativity or innovation from him. Motm from me was Paulo Ferreira, i thought he played very well going forward. Lamps performance was interesting indeed, i think for him to keep his place as a regular in the future he will have to play in deeper role like today.

average player, he will be another Malouda or Zhirkov signing. He might give you some good games, but in 2 or 3 years you will have to find a replacement because he is not good enough to make a starting position his own.

Bastos is a nice player; strong left leg, good pace, versatile enough to play LW, LM, and LB. Very similar to Zhirkov, but with less injuries. But not sure if he is good enough for Chelsea.

I guess i should've said the kid is a bright prospect and rated highly by Barca. I guess who knows if he is a good signing or not. Signing Romeu is a small risk and high reward. not much can go wrong. GDS is still decent player and time is on his side so he can turn around his career. But poor work ethic seems to be his problem.

Torres scored 18 goals in 22 games in 09/10 PL competition, that is pretty good for a shitty player. I still can't believe some of you are calling the Torres signing a mistake after 3 months.
