  1. LOL what 3-5-2? I have followed Pellegrini throughout his career, where are getting this 3-5-2 from and if he has used that formation it would be a rarity and was due to special circumstances. confused with Roberto Martinez? Pellegrini favorite formation is 4-4-2/4-2-2-2 btw.
  2. I have always thought Ramires would be perfect for a role similar to Asamoah's at Juventus. Cant think of another role that better utilize his talent then that.
  3. How so? The part of Benzema being better? That is my opinion and i tend to prefer all round strikers then poachers. The CL statistics? I didn't make that up. The part about him not showing up in big games? Well that is the perception in general about him, and most fair minded Madrid fans would definitely agree about him not stepping up in big games. Well i guess tbf to him the biggest game for Real Madrid in La Liga is against Barcelona, and i guess it is just a bad match up for him. Since a poacher is basically useless when you play Barca.
  4. Benzema>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I think Real will go after Falcao in the summer, hope we snatch Benzema. Higuain is the type of striker that shows up 9/10 against scrub sides, and shows up 1/10 against the top sides. If he is underrated that is probably the reason, also Higuain has only 7 goals in 44 CL games. So do people really want a striker like him? I personally think he is more likely to stay at Real Madrid then Benzema, Higuain has shown a lot more loyalty to the club. Then again i think it is possible both leave in the summer, i don't think neither want to continue sharing playing time with another top striker.
  5. I will write something longer next time. But few things: People information on this forum on Kakuta and PVA are still behind. Both players have played really well this season, and Kakuta attitude has significantly improved. Piet De Visser on numerous occasions has praised them for their development this season at Vitesse. On Lukaku- I definitely agree we need to buy a superb and proven striker in the summer, but that doesn't mean that Lukaku should go on loan. If there is something to take away from United and City success over the years is the abundance of strikers they have at the club. People on numerous occasion here have said "City and United got lucky again with a late winner/equalizer." Its not luck that on numerous occasion one of Chicharito, Welback, Rooney, or RVP steps up. Lets not forget United is a flawed team in midfield and defense(less so now that Vidic is back), they would not be first if it was not for their strikers. Same thing with Shitty. The decision to keep Lukaku is a easy one, because without a doubt he would make us a better team. I like the prospect of him coming in the 70-80 minute when we need a goal. His speed and strength is no doubt going to be an asset. On the other side people are nuts to think Lukaku and Ba alone would be good enough for next season. We definitely need to buy a proven striker. Feruz? lol he needs to go on loan, forget about him getting minutes at Chelsea, he would not even get a loan spell at any PL team let alone get playing time at Chelsea. Ake? A loan spell he definitely needs, after that lets reevaluate. I will write something later on my philosophy how to integrate youths another time.
  6. No, because i don't believe Roman is the dictator type leader like media portrays him to be. I believe powers are much more split at Chelsea then most clubs. Roman is the success he is now because of his connections and surrounding himself with the right people. If Rafa is Emenalo project, then shouldn't he be accountable? this season is such a failure from on the pitch to montary. We had opportunity to compete for 7 trophy, and think about how much more our sponsorships grew when we won the CL and by striking out in 7 competitions is massive below in amping Chelsea brand around the world. Retaining top 4 is still in limbo, missing out on CL would put an exclamation mark on how massive of failure this season was.
  7. Actually yes, i said this could get really ugly if Rafa doesn't win and win immediately. The thing is interim managers are supposed to bring new ideas, hope, and optimism. Rafa appointment didn't do any of those, tbf to him his appointment was doomed from the start and that is probably the worst thing about this because you can't really say in hindsight it was bad decision, it was a bad decision from the start. In Rafa first press conference, he talked briefly that he has known Michael Emenalo for a while and he was the person who contacted him from Chelsea. It leads me to believe that he was the one who advised roman to bring Rafa on board. If my speculation is true then he should be fired along with Rafa, they both share the blame for this season.
  8. lol Gomez is exactly the same type of striker as Falcao, but a less talented version of the Colombian. I don't see how Gomez can be described as a target man, a target man for me is someone like Drogba or Dortmund's Robert Lewandowski. He definitely does not have their ability to bring others into play. Do agree through a poacher is definitely not needed that includes Falcao. Lewa does almost everything right except for the most important thing from a striker, finishing. He can be Kalouless in front of the goal at times.
  9. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/world-of-sport/man-united-fan-calls-999-over-nani-red-144837969.html What is wrong with some people.
  10. Pellegrini is a extremely good candidate. i think he is as good of a fit at Chelsea as anyone on that list. Most importantly for me, i believe the biggest challenge for the next manager would be to get Hazard, Mata, and Oscar play at their best. I would love to see his 4-2-2-2 at Chelsea with Mata, Oscar, and Hazard. But Pellegrini has shown great tactical flexibility at every stop, he basis his formation on the players he has not the other way around like Rafa and Rdm who were extremely fixated on the 4-2-3-1.
  11. Imo Gotze and Reus are special talents, they will look good on most teams. Lawa, Kuba, and Gundogan on the other hand are definitely product of Klopp system. I seriously doubt that Fergie has been playing Rooney deeper and deeper every season. Kagawa is a good finisher, but Fergie loves to play with more goal scoring option upfront. Who could blame him, United strikers have considerably made up for their shortcomings ex: Defense, midfield. I am not sure where Kagawa would have played if RVP wasn't signed, most likely out wide or who knows maybe at CM. I have seen 6-7 of those matches, he looked horrible. His statistics does not tell the whole story. I am very bearish on Kagawa, i really don't think he will be anything more then a decent player of them.
  12. Kagawa looked amazing at Dortmund because of this guy. Klopp is a fucking amazing manager, this guy utilize his players better then anyone. Even before Pep announced he would be managing Bayern, i said from the beginning ideally i would pick Klopp over Pep any day of the week. Kagawa hat trick against Norwich was pretty good, but that was his first good performance in how many games? That was one outstanding game in bunch of games. The Kagawa at Dortmund was an example of a player that was perfectly used in a great system. Same goes for Sahin who looked like a future world beater at Dortmund, then flopped at Real Madrid and Liverpool.
  13. That is actually a conservative estimate from bodybuilding sites. lol I think a 100g of protein is what i will shoot for, and most research i have done on non supplement selling sites seem to be recommending about that much.
  14. I have lost a lot of weight since my High School(9-12) days, in that time i wrestled and played Football(Soccer) for my school. Due to being on a Football scholarship i couldn't wrestle anymore, and my coach ordered me to drop 15-20 pounds so i can be quicker and agile on the pitch. Now that i have graduated from uni for about two years and football days are behind me i am looking to gain a pretty good amount of muscle. I have looked around the internet, and so far i gathered from bodybuilding.com and other similar sites that you need 1.5 grams per body pound. So for someone like me who is 6 feet 1, and 170 pounds, i need around 255 Grams daily. Now i always been successful at building muscle, i am pretty sure their recommendation is bullshit and it is a way for those sites to sell supplements. My wallet is not that deep to get that much protein on a regular basis. So for someone like me who is looking to gain muscle pretty fast, does anyone know how much protein intake i need daily to be pretty effective at building muscle.
  15. I really have no problem buying Shaw to compete with Bertrand, and in the end of the day Chelsea deserves the best possible LB to succeed Cole. Whoever that may be, add PVA to the ring also he has showed enough promise to contend also. Not sure why people are concluding that since Shaw looks better at age 17then those two at the same age or younger, then he will be the better player. Shit if it was that simple then clubs wouldn't be spending millions on scouting. Young players progression is more complex then that, some players peak earlier and others are late bloomer. I can name hundreds of examples.
  16. wanted to make this point about the Pep saga for a while. Pep said on numerous occasion before and after his appointment as Bayern manager, he said that he would not talk to a club with a manager already at place and felt it would be unfair to any manager. Rafa and Pep are also known to have a personal relationship, i am sure this further made him uncomfortable about the prospect of taking over at Chelsea. So i am not sure how serious Roman was about Pep, because the hiring of Rafa absolutely deterred the chances of landing Guardiola. i think it is quite possible that there was never serious talks between Chelsea and Guardiola.
  17. Should be said that Leonardo early days at Inter was better then any manager in Serie A history, he collected 33 points in 13 games which is a Serie A record. Things did go sour toward the end of the season, but obviously things significantly improved under Leonardo.
  18. I have been told they are when it comes to Real Madrid but not so much with other clubs.
  19. If you think Courtois is better then thats fair, and you definitely have an argument there. I just think it is ridiculous for others to say he is hands down or without a doubt the best U21 GK, i think it is arguable and i can make a case for Ter Stegen. Nah i think that perception is more to do with the form Mönchengladbach, they were much better team last season and obviously he was getting more credit. I really cant say he has dropped form personally. That was my argument he is on the same level as Courtois. I really don't like comparing player x to player y, especially when both players are only 20 and with little body of work. Not to mention both play in different leagues. A GK at Barca needs to be really good with the ball at his foot, i haven't seen Courtois demonstrate that on a consistent basis since Alti are not really known to build their attack from the back. So i am not sure if Courtois would be a good candidate or will attract Barca.
  20. Have you ever heard of Ter Stegen? i am sure they are many who could make the case he is the best U21 GK.
  21. Would definitely endorse this, he can play out wide, behind the striker, and of course as a lone striker. http://skpd-hd-football.blogspot.com/ http://forum.rojadirecta.es/forum.php
  22. We sure could have used Jonathan Walters today.
  23. Luis Enrique may have been a possible candidate to take over for Pep if he had stayed at Barca. Might as well go with him if he wants a Barca manager.
