Dont understand when people ask where he'd play. You really think Moses would be starting over Hulk? If, and that's a huge IF we do buy Hulk, it will just confirm what most people here thought all along, that Moses was meant to be a squad player from the start who will be a big impact player off the bench and nothing more.

Don't know if I'm more worried about the "I'm happy with the squad" quote when we DO need another CF, or the fact that he said he doesn't see any more departures this summer. That's Malouda, Ferreira, and Benayoun still wasting for even longer eating up wages. If Torres gets injured/blows and Sturridge is the only option at CF, I can't see how we'll challenge for the title. Doesn't have to be someone as pricey as Cavani, but get SOMEONE.

If we sell Sturridge to Liverpoo, it better be for a minimum of £20m. He'll be one of those players that we'd seriously regret selling down the road. If they paid £20 for Stuart bloody Downing, then you can bet Studge should go at that rate at least.

I don't even see where Neymar would figure into the way we play. When you watched him for Brazil, he was literally all over the pitch. He was allowed to go anywhere at any time, and that's why he was so dangerous. You never know where he'll pop up. Would he really be able to do that here? Don't see how. I also agree with the questions about his fragility.

Modric for me as well. Would make every player around him look better.

I just think Cavani would give us more options. Torres only seems to be able to score in 1 way. He needs the ball played perfectly at his feet and basically needs to be unmarked or he'll clumsily dribble straight into a defender and lose the ball. Can't really beat people with pace anymore, isn't technically gifted enough to consistently take players one on one, and isn't a threat in the air.Cavani can score in ANY way. He's an absolute terror to defenses much like Drogba. If we had a formation we could use with both of them partnered up front for certain matches, they'd run absolute riot, I'd think.

Gun to your head right now, who would you rather have, a world class CM(Modric) or a world class CF(Cavani)?

Now imagine that game with Modric in for Lamps and Cavani to bury some of those chances Torres blew. As much as I want to trust Nando, it just scares the living shit out of me thinking about him sucking for long stretches or getting injured.

Just thinking about what City would do to this team. They'd probably smash them 5-0. So frustrating for 2 games so far where we clearly have a massive talent gap and still struggle.
