It's time to leave feelings out of it next summer and move Cech on. It's not like once he leaves Chelsea he'll be needing to take a massive step down to another club. He'll have his pick of a number of top clubs where he'll be very good for several more years. But we'd be getting the best young keeper in the world who can be a brick wall for us for the next 15+ years. It's best for both parties in the long run.
For fucks sake this is getting tiresome already in all the media. He scores 2 nice goals against rock bottom and arguably worst side in the league and suddenly he's being touted as a superstar. I can understand if he's been doing this consistently, but ONE GAME? People are acting like he's a young CR7.
I have an awful feeling that one of our key players is gonna get injured while away with their national side. Regardless, we should win this comfortably.
Oscar looks like he's about to shit himself every time he's going to answer a question in English. He's still really uncomfortable with it. Credit him for actually trying unlike some foreign players.
I've been saying it here for years. And he almost always gets the whistles because he's the young English darling. He gets away with so many fouls too.
If I were a betting man I'd go and put money on Ramsey scoring at least once here. I'm not even gonna waste time hoping West Brom get anything here. Fucking Arsenal.
I get that, but something about buying a player for 30m and playing him only twice so far against Basel and Swindon just rubs me the wrong way. How's he gonna get an understanding with our players and get to the level he can be at if he's not playing? His pace would be very effective against this side.
Why start Oscar out of position when we have a natural wide player in Willian on the bench? Oh well. This lineup should be more than enough to get us 3 points.
Exactly like Arsenal, Liverpool have only had one tough fixture in which they scraped a 1-0 win, again, just like Arsenal. They still have all of their toughest games ahead. A bit hard to judge how good both Liverpool and Arsenal are thus far.
We really should be testing Liverpool's resolve in the next window for Suarez. He'd be utterly unbelievable with the players we have. He never stops working, retains the ball brilliantly even when he's surrounded and can score worldies or jammy goals like he has today. The perfect striker for our system.
Yeah, I'm not expecting Everton to get anything here. City will be playing angry after being annihilated by Bayern the other day.Wouldn't be surprised if Aguero got a hat trick I here.
