  1. 100% guarantee that he'll be sold within 2-3 years when the next flashy name pops up. Kroos' game isn't spectacular enough, so when the fans and media get bored of him he'll end up back in Germany or here in the PL.
  2. Really hoping that some of these big name players linked with PL moves either stay put or go to other leagues. Really don't want to see the likes of Vidal, Sanchez, and Di Maria playing for our closest rivals. Imagine if United manage to sign Vidal, Di Maria, and a top CB. They really could go from 7th to champions in one season.
  3. Astounded that this still hasn't happened. If anything I thought this would be the first deal that we would've concluded weeks ago.
  4. I'm still holding out hope that it's possible. And if not Pogba then some other midfielder. Just look at the powerful midfield we used in the biggest games last season in Matic/Luiz. We no longer have the combinations to field a partnership like that. I think José will want a player like Pogba. Has all the traits that Mourinho loves.
  5. I'm just predicting that Yaya (if he's even there next season) won't be quite as good as he was last season.Don't think they'll take a sizable step back, just maybe a few points. Don't think they'll finish lower than 2nd.
  6. Think Arsenal will be similar to last season. They'll look like genuine title contenders and one of the best sides in the league for the first half of the season but will then fade like they always do. I expect United and City to be the big threats. Think City take a slight step back from last season with us improving significantly which will see us winning the title. United playing once a week and being able to focus solely on the PL will see them do a Liverpool. Think they'll finish above Arsenal.
  7. We'll see the real Gerrard next season. Last season's was a facade. Played once a week and never had to be rotated. Let's see how he gets on with midweek fixtures and 3-4 competitions to compete in.
  8. --------------------Costa------------------- Hazard-----------------------Willian/Oscar -----------------Fabregas------------------ --------Matic---------------Pogba---------- Luis-------Terry--------Cahill--------Azpi -----------------Courtois---------------------
  9. I'd like to see them play a side like Real Madrid or Bayern, or any of the elite sides. The sheer gulf in class between the lineups when the team sheets are released will be hilarious.Ronaldo, Bale, Di Maria, Benzema vs Lallana, Henderson, Gerrard, Sterling They'd be shitting themselves.
  10. "Defending is easy. Anyone can coach that." Concedes ridiculous amount of goals last season. Let's see how he gets on against the elite sides in Europe if they draw any in their group. Those sides aren't going to bend over and beg for more like Norwich.
  11. That, and Liverpool can't attract top drawer players. They need to target players that don't have offers from anyone better.
  12. Just smacks as Spurs & Bale. So many of their supporters and even a bunch of media and journalists were saying things like "they got rid of a world class player in Bale but they may be an even better side because they're fortifying all of the holes that Bale masked." That's how Liverpool fans will spin it.
  13. So Liverpool have signed Lallana, Lambert, and Can so far with Markovic now seemingly done and Lovren likely. Just like Spuds, they've replaced one world class player with a bunch of average ones. Have to say that I'm not sweating Liverpool at all. Much more concerned about Arsenal, City, and United than them. Don't think they get near the title next season.
  14. Apparently done to Liverpool. The way they're getting so excited about this signing you'd think they'd signed Di Maria or some world class player. Most of them have never seen him play.
  15. Yep.Hope we genuinely are linked with him, though. Now that France are out it would be wise to get any potential deal done quickly before clubs start courting Vidal. Was just reading on twitter about that Mutu issue we still have with Juve and how it may be able to help in negotiations with them. Plus they want Alexis Sanchez so us dealing with them can be mutually beneficial. They can use the cash raised from Pogba's sale to buy Sanchez which would make Vidal want to stay and play alongside his compatriot. How awesome would it be to acquire Pogba, stop Arsenal getting Sanchez, and stop United from getting Vidal all in one fell swoop?
  16. It seems like we get linked with him once per week. Everything dies down and then a few days later we get linked with him again. Nobody has any clue.
  17. Still surreal that he's a Chelsea player.
  18. Think he and Hazard will be the two best wide players in the league next season. Really sucks that he's going to Arsenal.
  19. Santa Barbara, huh? Extremely nice area!
  20. He has the ability to be unplayable just like the three you named and has proven it at times with us. Wish José would just hammer it in his head to try to play similar to Robben. Constantly run at your marker and keep him on edge. Play at a high tempo more consistently and take the game to the opponent rather than waiting for something got open up.
  21. It's like he doesn't know or understand how good he is. He doesn't have that killer instinct sort of mentality a lot of the time. He's been so timid and passive this tournament. Maybe he's extremely exhausted? Who knows. Shows his unbelievable skill in flashes but then has games like this where he doesn't use his pace and burst and instead plays at walking pace.
  22. He's not even better than Sagna who he'd be replacing. Good player but not an elite player. That being said, if Arse manage to get Debuchy, Sanchez, a striker, and a decent DM then they should be right up there challenging for the title. At least until their annual injury epidemic or collapse. ----------Giroud---------- Alexis----Özil----Walcott ---Ramsey---New DM--- Gibbs-Kosielny-Mert-Debuchy -----------Szszsz------------ That's a pretty nice XI. Still fancy ourselves and City over that, though. Looks like a normal Arse side that'll be bullied by more athletic and physical sides. A side much like last seasons where they'll steam roll the small teams and lose most of the big matches. Alexis would be a genuinely excellent signing.
  23. Average player.They could've done better.
  24. Kind of wish he wouldn't go to those cunts at RM. But we all know how it works. Barca make a superstar signing and RM will match it. Suarez to Barca, James to RM. They'll pay whatever silly money it takes to 1-up their rival.
  25. Have to say that he's been a massive disappointment in this tournament. He was playing much deeper today and was pretty much invisible. Can't recall him getting involved in the attack more than one or two times. It was pretty obvious that it was a tactical instruction from Scolari but even when he was more advanced in the prior matches he hasn't done much. He needs a long, long rest after the WC. Mata was rested for a long while at the start of the season in his second year with us, wasn't he? That's what Oscar needs. Use Cesc as the #10 and sit Oscar for a couple of weeks.
