Agree with this. He'll be given at least until January.
-
I've been burned too many times getting excited by rumors.Still haunted by the Neymar and Agüero sagas.
-
Don't get excited until a player is holding a Chelsea shirt and is announced by our official Twitter. That's my new personal rule.
-
I was thinking Silva at #10 with Kevin on the right and Sterling on the left.Attacking wise that would be ridiculous but then attack and goal scoring isn't their issue I guess. Yaya & Fernandinho clearly doesn't work. Still, don't want to see De Bruyne there.
-
This is what I'm concerned about. Would be terrible if he ended up at City especially.Say City get Sterling and KdB who they've been heavily linked with. Those two playing off of Silva, Yaya, and Agüero would be devastating. If he leaves Wolfsburg hopefully it's to Bayern or some other non-English club.

Subject of this weeks ScoutNation. He's so, SO much better than Oscar offensively, technically, and is just an all around classy player. Such a shame we sold him. He'd have a field day with Costa in front of him and Hazard beside him. Meanwhile, we'll have Oscar start brilliantly and then fade badly as the season goes on. Don't care how badly it would look for the club, I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

Another striker injured in training? Couldn't make it up.
-
I agree with you and I really like Remy and hope to see him have a bigger role next season.Just wouldn't surprise me is all.
-
I think it makes less sense for him personally than it does for us. We get any kind of production out of our third choice striker and it's not so bad.The fact that he'd agree to being our third choice striker is puzzling. Though it wouldn't shock me if José made him #2 ahead of Remy.
-
Only a matter of time before the Hulk rumors pop up again.
-
With Cesc and Hazard supplying him I suppose he could reignite his form. But that's only if he actually played regularly... ...which he wouldn't because we have Costa and Remy. Could be a master stroke or a Man United-sequel failure.
-
As much as I'd like him here, paying more for our backup striker than our first choice one would be silly. Can't see Liverpool paying that much for him either unless they funded it by selling Sterling. With the amount of crosses that United smack across the box he'd be great in their team. They do need a striker too.
-
If anyone thought Ivanovic would see his role in the side reduced next season they're kidding themselves. So long as he's fit he'll start every match next season again. He's undroppable just like Matic, Hazard, and JT.
-
Don't believe it, myself. Remy has proven that he can score goals time and time again. With Drogba gone you'd think he'd be our #2 option. Falcao on the other hand showed at United this season that he needs games to play well which he didn't get. He'd be parked on the bench for extended periods here as well and I doubt he'd voluntarily join as 3rd choice. Would be pretty fucked up if he's told he'll be 2nd choice and it screws Remy over. Against this potential signing personally.
-
So you want it to be harder for us to win the league? Interesting.I suppose you'll be happy if Bale goes to United, Vidal to Arsenal, and Pogba to City then?
-
The hell would you hope for that?
-
Kind of hope he does go to United. Depay and Gaítan aren't exactly the scary signings that I expected from them. Apparently these latest rumors linking him to them are bullshit once again, though.
-
If we do want him we'd have to act fast because unlike us, Arsenal can make him an every match starter.
-
Can't believe what I'm reading in here... N'Zonzi? Really!? I just want one superstar/world class signing along with a couple of very good options at the level just below. A Griezmann/Bale/Reus level attacking player along with Schniederlin and another striker. Have this bad feeling that we won't make a single marquee signing, though, and will simply freshen up the options we have in the squad. Just get players who will give competition to our current first XI. Would be a mistake doing so as well. We need to push on and not remain still while United/City/Arse spend £100m or more each.
-
Oscar doesn't have the pace or technical ability to be a top wing player. He's not able to burst along the touch line, beat a man, and swing in crosses like a top class winger does.
-
Better than what Arsenal, Liverpool, or Everton have. Surely too good to be a backup.
-
Was untouchable today. When he's motivated and up for it he's behind only Messi for me in terms of pure entertainment. Days like today just make me think "fuck me, I wish I could do that!" He deserves to have another player of his quality on the opposite wing next season. That in my opinion will allow him to take the next step in his evolution and add more potency in front of net. He'd be even more free to express himself without having to beat 2-3 men that are marking him.
-
Imagine Hazard or Matic tearing an ACL or something in a match like this. Pretty absurd that we agreed to a friendly a week after the season ends.
-
Watch Cuadrado score now...
-
Will forever remain my favorite Chelsea player.
