I almost, ALMOST hit my breaking point during that match. Some of our boys need a massive kick up the ass. The effort, commitment, and attitude are disgraceful from all but Begovic and 3/4th's of our back line. Ivanovic is clearly trying but he's simply shot so I'm done wasting my anger at him. It's Fabregas, Hazard, Oscar, Matic, and everyone else in our attack that I'm livid with. I'm going to reluctantly single out Cesc most of all. He looks like a bloody 40 year old out there. The misplaced passes, the lack of pace, and nearly non exsistent defensive cover are super annoying but FOR FUCKS SAKE I can't stand when he has the ball and dwells on it for ages allowing someone to nick it from behind. He was my favorite player in our team last season and he now looks like a shell of the player that was a revelation in the first half of the season. Will he ever rediscover that form or has he just burnt out and been figured out? Looking at the table is depressing as fuck. Seeing United miles ahead of us and topping the league after finishing 17 points ahead of them last season is utterly sickening. We're looking at a dogfight with Spuds and Liverpool for that 4th spot at this rate.

Your last sentence is spot on and exactly the problem. Our side has no gut. An opponent puts pressure on or smacks us in the mouth and we can't handle it. We're so easy to bully which is shocking and unheard of from a Mourinho team. I've now fully converted to the "we don't train attacking play" side. Our attacking players look like total strangers. It's embarrassing. Nearly every manager in the world would kill for the players we have. We just waste it.
-
We're the laughing stock of the league. A team with Hazard, Pedro, Oscar, Fabregas etc and our attack looks like a Sunderland level team. Shocking.
-
We're seriously being fucking dominated by Newcastle. Fuck me! How do our players week after week look this bad!? I don't get it. We look TERRIBLE!
-
This is the most predictable fucking game ever. Letting the bottom side dominate the ball and dictate the tempo. GET THE BALL AND HOLD IT!
-
Didn't think there was any way José would give Baba the Luis treatment but we're seeing it again. How many goals will we need to concede from that side until Mouinrho wakes up? He's dropped JT repeatedly this season without issue yet Ivanovic who has been FAR worse keeps his place no matter what.
-
Baba not on the bench once more. Injured?
-
Get ready for captain Ivanovic!
-
Sunderland... My word.
-
I said potentially.
-
Will Newcastle go into Real Madrid mode today or will our players take care of business and not let a shit team play? You have to hope José sets us out to dominate the ball and not be reactive.
-
Their fixtures thus far have been a joke. Today is no different. When they played a decent opponent in Swansea they struggled.
-
Holy shit! Go on, Spuds! MUST WIN TODAY!
-
With Kane out of form like this Spuds have absolutely no goal threat from open play.
-
You look at City's attack here and the talent on show and then remember that Silva isn't even playing.
-
He'll haunt us for years.
-
Get ready for the media wankfest tomorrow where I expect him to score another 2-3. Sunderland are utterly garbage.
-
Damnit. Just realized that we're the late kickoff tomorrow. Potential weekend ruiner if we have to watch both Manc teams win just before we play, be under huge pressure ourselves after seeing their results, and then losing. Fuck, we better win this. We can kiss top 2 goodbye if we lose and they both win I think. I predict City will pinch a narrow victory against Spuds and of course United are still playing this piss easy opening set of fixtures and will blow Sunderland away.
-
José basically did this to Wenger in today's presser. Just slayed.
-
Good thing I don't give a toss about this competition. Hope we play a totally weakened side. We don't need to be risking our important players in a midweek game all the way up in Stoke when we're trying to play major catch-up in the league.
-
If we have any slight hope at all of catching City this is a must win. We'd be in serious danger of letting TWO sides pull too far ahead to catch if we lose this and the two Manc sides both win.
-
Absolutely dreading this one. They're unbelievably shit and in TERRIBLE form and we're finally starting to trend upward. That means (as usual, since they're one of our bogey sides) they'll raise their game and perform fantastically well against us. They're diabolically poor. Can't imagine the shit storm and embarrassment if we lose to that steaming pile.

Not what I'm seeing. Think I read that both Spuds and Arse are playing weakened sides. Not like we're playing all youth players. This XI should have more than enough to beat Walsall.

While seeing them fail in Europe is hilarious, it's probably a bad thing this season. If Pellegrino fails there again they'll sack him and get Pep which would be a nightmare for everyone.
