  1. So sad watching all of our rivals playing with their expensive new toys. Like we did last season.
  2. Will an interim manager really be the answer though? As I said earlier, which top manager is going to agree to come in and be under immediate pressure and have the weight of having to right a ship?
  3. Depends where we finish of course. Going from champions to 7th was dreadful.I can't believe we'd allow that to happen. Far too much talent and class in our team. So far it's worse than Moyes' season for us.
  4. Have to laugh now at people (myself included) who predicted City to struggle this season and had us retaining the title. "City's midfield and defense will be their Achilles heel," we said. They've won all of their matches, haven't conceded a single goal, signed £150m worth of players, and play fantastic football. The reigning champions have conceded nearly 15 goals, have 4 points from 15, signed a bunch of bench players, and play terrible football. We have the player of the year, league leader in assists, last years best CB, and a 20 goal scoring striker in our team and we've been this shocking. On top of all that, some super imprortant players are injured and we have a CL match and one against Arsenal this coming week. Haven't felt so low on this club since the whole AVB debacle. Feels like there isn't any quick solution that'll save us either. The title is fucking gone a month into the season. Even the absolute harshest of Chelsea haters couldn't have foreseen this. Won the league by EIGHT points and then THIS is what happens. Depressing stuff.
  5. Completely out of sight after 5 matches. Even worse than Moyes' season with United because we have a MUCH better squad of players than he had. Embarrassing.
  6. Is Oscar going to play those accurate balls over the top like Cesc does, though? Does he have the vision to pierce a defense with a through ball that Cesc is so good at? I don't think so on either point. He would help our defense much more and wouldn't get bullied like Cesc does since he's far more athletic but I'm not sure it would do anything for our attack. I'd try it, though. -------------------Costa------------------- Hazard---------Willian----------Pedro -----------Oscar--------Matic------------ Baba----Terry------Zouma----Azpilicueta -----------------Begovic-----------------
  7. Can't afford to replace one of the best managers in the world with an up and coming one and give someone their big chance. It could turn into AVB all over again. We also shouldn't want a manager like Simeone who will essentially play just like Mourinho does. If you replace a world class manager it needs to be with another one. Klopp and Pep are the only two options in my eyes. You just know with 100% certainty that if we sack José, once LvG's contract is up he'll take over there.
  8. We have no suitable Fabregas replacement. Unless we moved Oscar back next to Matic and had Pedro, Hazard, and Willian behind Costa. Josè won't do that.We had no choice today but to pick Ivanovic apparently.
  9. Keep seeing people say they want Fabregas dropped. For who, though? We going to have Mikel as an every match starter? Our football would be even more unwatchable and our midfield even more immobile.Who are we going to replace José with at this point in the season? Klopp ain't taking over during a season when he can't shape his own team and ease into things. Why would any top manager come in and be under instant pressure?
  10. His team selections haven't been great but the players themselves have to take a huge amount of the blame too. All of our best players who were phenomenal last season have been woeful for a while now. Cesc, Hazard, Costa, our whole defense. No excuse for those guys to suddenly go to shit.
  11. Agree that sacking him now would be pointless. If he lost the dressing room, maybe, but I don't believe he has.
  12. Nope, that's the gist of it. It's getting ridiculous for him to use these same excuses time and time again.
  13. Wow. Reading these quotes from his post match on Twitter... Has he lost the plot? This is scary.
  14. I'm not over José yet either but he's wearing thin even for me, his most ardant supporter.Klopp I love but he's a little too similar in style to José. Just a slightly different kind of counter attacking. I want to dominate the ball and pass teams to death. Tired of watching dull as dish water football to be honest. Sick of relying on a monent of Magic from a single player to bail us out. Also getting sick of the bad light Chelsea as a club is being painted in. We need an injection of class, style, and respectability.
  15. No thanks to Carlo again. If it comes to it and he's sacked just wait the season out and see if we can persuade Pep to come. Only manager I'd have to replace José. He's someone who has a set philosophy, is loved by both players and the media, and is classy. I'd want someone completely different than Mourinho. Pep would immediately make us a more respected club and he'd do wonders with Hazard. Give him a long contract and any money he wants to reshape our team. I'd want pure, attractive, attacking football. I want to tune into a Chelsea match and know exactly the type of football we're going to play each time. A team that sets out to dominate and know that they have the superior players. No counter attacking bullshit. I want to see possession based play. It's gotta be Pep.
  16. No chance he'll be sacked after that. If we lose to Arsenal in embarrassing fashion...
  17. The most embarrassed I've been as a Chelsea fan in our players. They look like they've never played together before. Midfield nonexistent, defense as bad as I've seen from ANY team ever never mind the defending champions. Costa terrible, Fabregas terrible, Hazard in and out of it. Title is already gone 5 matches into the season. Just think about that for a defending champion. Top 4 will be a MASSIVE struggle now as well. Only positive (if you can even call it that) is that we are no longer under any pressure at all to win the title. We can just go out and focus on making the top 4. Get Oscar back, get Baba in and we should immediately improve.
  18. Kenedy looks terrified. Misplacing every single pass.
  19. We're shit. We seriously are fucking terrible this season.
  20. Matic and Mikel just fucking stare at Naismith and let him walk right in.
  21. So are we turning into United now with all of these training ground injuries? Fucking hell!
  22. Cesc at #10, Ivanovic STILL starting, Baba not even on the bench even though he's been here for weeks now. God help us if we lose...
  23. As if the club would tell us.Same thing happened with Remy last season. Picks up an injury and is mysteriously out for weeks with no explanation at all.
  24. Being the negative nancy I've been lately, I have a baaaad feeling about this. Biggest worry is if Cesc doesn't dramatically improve. Think Hazard has that switch he can and will flick on and he'll be back to his best straight away. If Fabregas's struggles continue Everton will run straight through our midfield and we'll lose.
  25. I too trust Begovic. The start to this season has been nightmarish, man. Christ. Carnage if we lose to Everton.
