Özil, Di Maria, and Robben are Real Madrid cast offs. Fabregas, Sanchez, and Yaya are Barca cast offs. Isco isn't a nailed on starter at Real Madrid because they are obsessed with getting a shiny new toy every summer.He's better than Oscar and miles better than Willian so he'd start for us every game.

Isco isn't really anything like Mata at all. He's way stronger on the ball, a MUCH better dribbler, has better work rate, and isn't so light weight that he gets brushed off the ball with ease.

It would be ridiculous. Hazard would have a worthy #10 that he can interchange with and play off of around the opponents box much like he had in Mata.

The frustrating thing is that players like Isco and Griezmann are the types of targets we should be after but I bet you the board is thinking "We just signed Kenedy and Cuadrado. We don't need any attacking midfielders." We basically just cycle average AM's every year or two. We buy average players instead of top ones that can lock down a place for a long time.

Everyone here knows I'm the biggest Mourinho slapped there is, but IF the day comes soon (which it won't this season under ANY circumstances) then I'd want a manager that's completely different style wise. Wouldn't want Simeone for example who plays in a similar way.

He reinforced what we already knew, really. He's too good to be a #2. Which is fantastic for us as a club but perhaps not so much for Begovic himself. When he comes outside of our penalty area in defensive situations he looks like I would if I pulled on a Chelsea shirt, i.e. a fish out of water. He looked like an old man when he came out to defend Silva before the Agüero goal I think it was. Still our best CB but a part of me is glad José demonstrated today that even our legendary captain isn't invincible and exempt from getting benched. It also means that if we get Stones, JT isn't the one nailed on to be his defensive partner.

The worry now is that United have now lost out on both Ramos and Otamendi.

City are in this kind of form and have that fantastic array of attacking talent and will still be looking to add to it. They're showing the ambition that they want to dominate the league. We on the other hand have so far been content with a squad that already showed major concerns last season. City have Agüero, Silva, Yaya, and Sterling. Four bright sparks that can all win you matches individually. And they're likely to get De Bruyne too. We have Hazard and that's about it. And he's in poor form. Costa is completely unreliable due to injuries and behavior (more concerned with fighting than playing football) Cesc goes missing when conditions aren't perfect, Willian is a limp dick in the final third, and Oscar doesn't even play in the big games. We need another truly special attacking player to elevate ourselves to the very top level. Real Masrid have loads, Barca and Bayern as well. City have a bunch, even Arsenal have Sanchez and Özil. Wish we'd throw a massive bid in for Reus. Another player at Hazard's level. It's depressing seeing City with all of these world class attacking players who are blowing people away while we struggle to do anything in the final third.

Yep.This is why we 100% need a new CM. To play in these big games and free Fabregas from the need to defend as much and to make sure we aren't porous in midfield.

His problems are more physical than mental. He's so slow and extremely unathletic. I saw Silva turn him quite a few times that game because he can't keep up. He's at his best when he's deep in midfield and has time to use his brain to read the game. When he's forced higher up the pitch and is in more crowded areas where he has little time on the ball he's basically useless.

Don't know why people are talking about panic buys as if it's a negative. If we panic buy top players then so be it. Just do SOMETING! And not just Baba and Stones. We need about 4 players.

And now we have a Tony Pulis WBA next. A team we've struggled against recently. Don't even have words for that pathetic display. All I know is that Ivanovic should be benched indefinitely.

Humiliated. Big, BIG changes needed or this could be a nightmare season.

And to think just a few short weeks ago people (myself included) predicted us to win the league and City to finish behind Arsenal and possibly even United.
