He had several of the best players who have ever played football at Barca. Sure he had to get them to play together in a system and all that but with the insane array of talent he had at his disposal it wasn't like it was some colossal task. I meant that we are too much of a project. It would take at least a couple of transfer windows for him to shape us into a Pep team and even longer to play his style of football. Think we'd need almost an entirely new midfield and defense.
-
Too much of a project for Pep. He'll go to the easiest job with best squad and brightest future. Just like he did with Bayern. Can't blame him. Simeone will be the best we can hope for.
-
Doesn't matter to me how he ends up there. Seeing our best (and my personal favorite) manager ever at the helm of a club I despise will be painful. He's a success wherever he goes and he'll be one there. Which in turn means we'll likely be less successful.
-
Meh. Don't think PSG is of interest to him. He'd be bored out of his mind.
-
Or Pellegrino. The worst thing initially will be seeing him sign players he couldn't here. Pretty much no transfer target will be out of reach. Seeing him sign players we've been desperate for here for years will be a gut punch. Think Stones and Pogba will be his two big summer buys.
-
Fuck. Was still holding out a glimmer of hope that Mou wouldn return to Madrid. Only one possible destination now. Goddamnit. Next season will be a pain watching José at United.
-
Both of them play deeper in midfield. Teixeira is an attacking midfielder.
-
Still trying to comprehend how/why this signing would make sense. We already have Hazard, Oscar, Willian, and Pedro. Two of those when fit (Hazard & Willian) are nailed on to start every match. Oscar is someone Hiddink clearly thinks highly of and seems to be a near lock to start. Pedro has been playing very well lately. Spending £30m on another AM who may not even be an upgrade on who we have seems stupid. What if our next manager doesn't like this type of player? Why not save the cash and make a run at AM's who we 100% know are upgrades and we have our next permanent manager appointed? We won't have CL football next season but if we manage to lure Simeone he's a manager who is probably attractive to top players. We may be able to lure Isco for example.

Chelsea black kits for the rest of the season.
-
Mikel is excellent with the ball in tight areas. Always has been. Certainly better than Matic in that regard.
-
We strung more than 2 passes together, fuck me!!!
-
Fabregas and Oscar are embarrassing.
-
The endless fucking nightmare continues... Couldn't make this stuff up!
-
Miserable conditions, scrappy team missing their two best players, brilliant home support roaring their team on... This has all the ingredients of a loss, I fear. We struggle to pass the ball in perfect conditions. Sweeping wind and heavy rain should be fun...
-
Please, PLEASE have a huge game, Hazard! We need him to shape up now!
-
Yikes. Even less confident now than I was last night. Like every other team we play against these days Ivanovic and Fabregas will be heavily targeted.
-
I'll be surprised if we win this. Pardew knows just how to play against us. In that stadium with the best home support in the league, if we concede early I can see us crumbling yet again and losing badly. He'll have them pressing us high and not allowing our midfield players time on the ball which every opponent knows is our biggest weakness.

Cuadrado, based on what I watched of him, looked like the perfect type of player for a Mourinho team before we bought him. He wasn't a stat machine in Italy but he had the aspects of his game that should've translated well to our team.He looked as though he simply forgot how to play football when he pulled on the Chelsea shirt. Suppose it also did him no favors that Willian took his game to the next level and prevented him from getting chances. Texeira to me doesn't look too impressive on YouTube. To be fair I thought the same about Douglas Costa and he now looks like a beast in the making at Bayern. He just looked like he was destroying really shit opponents and I didn't think he'd be able to do so against better defenders. Maybe this dude will be the same.
-
Just hope we don't buy yet another Cuadrado type who looks brilliant in a weak league and its 30m down the drain after he's sold in a season or two.
-
Listing the two "once (or twice in this case) generation" talents there. We don't have the next Messi or CR7 in our midst. Who of those kids we had on our bench today could've won us that game? Not one.
-
Our first team was getting battered and you want the kids to be thrown in? What kind of confidence would it give them to be massacred had they played?
-
Never seen Hazard so visibly fed up and demonstrative. Yes, he was getting hacked to shreds (as usual) but he looks like a player who knows his effort is in vein. Unless we appoint an awesome, attack focused manager who will sign top players of Hazard's quality I think he'll ask to leave. Far too much responsibility on his shoulders. Just sad. The entire team just looks shit.
-
Martial, a 19 year old kid in his first season there, is completely annihilating us. Time and time again.
-
Looks like we'll have to beat the only 3-4 sides worse than us in this league in order to stay up this season.
-
Oscar is pathetic. We look totally clueless in every area of the pitch.
