Where would Oscar even play? I think it's almost nailed on that Conte will play with either 3 in the middle of the pitch using a 4-3-3 or play with 2 strikers. That means no room for a player like Oscar who isn't effective out wide and is inferior to what we have already (nevermind who we'll sign) further back. This is the sort of signing you make when you're maybe a player or two away from having a title winning squad and need an experienced player on a short term rental essentially.
