Was curious what fans of other clubs are saying about us and just had a look over on RAWK. Almost every one of those inbred Scouse mutants are saying how "average, boring and poor" we looked. Proof they don't know a thing about football. Guess they like conceding 3 to Arsenal's B team and nearly throwing away a 4-1 lead. Idiots.

He must push and push and push some more for just a couple more signings. He's tactically masterful and can motivate players like few others can, but we can't just trust that our back 4 will play like that all season. Just give him a couple more and we can do this. We can definitely finish in the top 4 if we sign Koulibaly and maybe one other player.

Nearly jumped through my ceiling when Diego scored. Tactically awesome match for Conte. Totally negated their biggest strengths and had our boys after them pressing. Gave away a 1 in a million, fluke goal that Collins would never score again. Very promising performance from our attacking players that was just missing the last little touch of quality at times. Hope the club don't get complacent by that performance and decide they don't need to bring more in. A couple of key signings and we can challenge for the league.

Thought we completely controlled and dominated them after the first 10 minutes. Just missing that final touch of quality. Great intensity, great movement. Hazard, Costa, and Oscar all great. Clearly we need a Matic upgrade, it must be said. Looked like a weak point of this lineup.

We'll probably see Cesc come on at some point today. Hopefully angry and eager to prove that he should start.

Both Creswell and Lanzini are out for sure, right? That's two of their best and most important players. Ayew can't possibly be fully settled and gelled with his teammates. Payet is said to be not fully recovered yet. At home, opening day, everyone at 100%, and with all the energy and excitement there's really no excuse not to get the 3 points today. It would be great to get one of the tougher fixtures out of the way this early rather than later in the season when they'd be more settled. Again, I'm confident in our attack, shitting it about our defense.

Don't think he's a world beater but he's a top class player. Can get you double digit goals and double digit assists from the wing. You just have to trust he wasn't a one season wonder just like we will with Kante and hopefully Koulibaly. I think Mahrez would be amazing at a bigger club.

I'd say more of our fans underrate him than overrate him. None of us are deluded enough to consider Willian world class or anything, but the hate I see talked about him on Twitter is ridiculous. Many of our own fans talk as if he's a complete donkey. If we were to sign someone like Mahrez that's the only way I could see Willian being displaced on the right. That's not happening and to be honest, it's not totally necessary. We'd see much more of an improvement in our attack with an Oscar upgrade than a Willian one. Coincidently, Mahrez could play there too. Just don't think the club are even considering any attacking mids currently as we have scrubs like Pedro and Cuadrado taking up roster spaces.

Everyone needs to stop moaning about the price. Who fucking cares that he may cost £50m? John Stones was woeful last season and just went for £50m a few days ago! This dude was one of the best CB's in Europe last year and has the potential to be the best. Worth it. Koulibaly + Zouma at some point this season hopefully. Future back 3 of Koulibaly, Zouma, and Chistensen. Pace, power, great on the ball, massive size and physicality. Dont care what he costs, just get him in.

Having watched everyone else this weekend I'm feeling a bit more confident. Everyone else is just as shit defensively as we are. Get Hazard firing like he has been and Diego back to being himself and we'll be in business.

Sadio Mane is a fantastic player. Would've loved him here. Klopp can make him a world class player. Unreal combination of skill, pace, power, and end product. He's got it all. Actually a bit jealous Liverppol have got him.

Just look at all 3 goals again. The defending was literally comical. Bit like ours... First 2 goals came from terrible defensive mistakes and for Zlatan's (while it was a great finish) they just stood off of him and allowed him about 3 touches before getting his strike away. If we don't get defensive reinforcements I'm not looking forward to facing Zlatan. And this was before Pogba and Mkhitaryan have even really played.

Bournemouth can play some pretty football when in possession but they're woeful defensively. This is the sort of team that the likes of Zlatan will destroy and score loads against. My tip for Golden Boot.

Somewhat relaxed and quietly confident right now due to attacking players showing promise in preseason that they're back to their best. I'm sure as Monday afternoon comes closer I'll start getting more nervous. Already having nightmares about Payet ghosting past Matic or Cesc depending on which of them starts or passing clean through our entire team. Or Andy Carroll bullying both JT and Cahill. Or just about anyone running at Ivanovic.

Spurs really do have a nice looking squad now, it has to be said. Great striker up top, plenty of steel in the middle with Dier and Wanyama, creative sparks like Eriksen, Dele Alli, and Lamela, probably the best CB partnership in the league, and good, modern fullbacks in Rose and Walker. World class keeper too.
