Great. There was a very slim chance of Spds taking anything from United next this weekend but now it's pretty much a guarenteed 3 points.

Sit super deep, bore everyone to sleep, and play long balls into the channels for Daniel James or Martial to run down. They're keeping lots of clean sheets and have really turned their season around but fuck me they're awful to watch. Would be a travesty to see them finish above us.

City look like they're not bothered. You can tell this means nothing to them by their casual body language.

Whenever I just casually watch City they batter everyone and look even better than Liverpool. But when I really want them to win against one of our rivals they're either missing key players or Pep decides to smell his own farts by making massive changes. Of all the chasing pack United are easily our biggest threat ONLY because they're the only side who are consistent defensively. They can make a game extremely ugly and grind it to a halt. Then they hit you on the counter or a set piece. They play easily the ugliest football of anyone in the top half of the table but have a really solid defense so they can compete with anyone.

United have so many SHIT players but are always able to raise their game against the big teams.

Mason and Billy were fantastic, but it's Barkley who looked the most improved for me. Crazy how much better he looks when he's confident. Doesn't take an hour on the ball deciding what to do with it, dribbles past players with ease, and bombing forward with the ball with power. If he keeps this up he'll be a big asset in the run-in.

Would be delightful to see City batter United here and do us a big favor. But United are always good against the big teams under Ole and no KDB for City. This could go either way. Game is kinda meaningless for City who are now fully focused on the CL.

Billy is amazing on the ball and at offering his teammates a pass. What a player he can become. I think all but 2-3 players were outstanding that first half. Unfortunately, we can clearly see that this isn't a comfortable 3 points yet. We're giving them just enough of a sniff that they'll feel confident they can score here.

Alonso in a back 4 is just an accident waiting to happen. Going forward great, so sketchy at the back. Especially with Zouma beside him.

Zouma makes me nervous af every time he's on the ball.

Everton have a pretty decent looking team, tbf. This will take some excellent performances from our whole XI to get 3 points.

Starting XI isn't bad at all considering all we're missing. But holy shit, if we have to make some adjustments there aren't many options!

Just want to say before we even kick off that I absolutely hate Richarlison and I know that diving bastard will do something really annoying tomorrow. As for the match, I'm both excited and terrified because I have no clue what sort of team Lamps will be able to put out. With injuries and suspensions we have a skeleton crew left over. This could go super poorly if Everton are in form.

Our squad is fucking decimated, Jesus Christ! I would be absolutely shocked if we win this tomorrow.

Our entire starting midfield 3 all injured or unavailable at the same time when we're in the midst of an extremely tight top 4 race. Just wow. Guess it's good we're getting Billy some settling in time and RLC is nearly ready. We'll need them.

We need to start to come to with the idea of Sancho at United. Unless Real Madrid somehow gets shot of Bale that's his only other option I'd say. Us signing Ziyech was the end of our pursuit. Honeslty, I think Ziyech will be just as productive as Sancho, if not even more so as long as we buy intelligently in the summer. At only a quarter of the price as well.

At this point we should just start hoping more and more that City's ban is held in place for at least 1 of the 2 years they got so that 5th place gets into the CL. Because we're almost surely going to be limping along for the rest of the season. One match we'll look great and the next we'll be shocking. Same could be said about everyone else, though.

I just want this season to end.

Literally the only thing you have to do against us is play with intensity. Doesn't matter if you're a dreadful, shocking side, all you have to do is hustle, press, and get at us and we crumble.
