Honestly, I don't give a toss if Liverpool win the league. They probably deserve it since they've been so ridiculous these last 12 months. If it isn't us any given season, as long as it's not another London club i'm not bothered. I don't have a burning hatred for Liverpool like I do for Spuds and especially Arse. What will be unbearable about them winning it, however, will be the media love-in. It'll reach Man United levels of wank off.

Sissoko is such an enigma of a player. He has had matches here and there over the past year where he is unplayable and others like today where he looks like a Bakayoko tier donkey.

You can tell by the way that Spuds have totally abandoned their best attribute (their monster high press) that they're just not the same side. They've also got almost zero quality from wide areas. Average fullbacks and no natural wingers.

Spuds having essentially the exact same squad for what seems like ages looks to finally be catching up to them. They look stale. Still capable of bursts of brilliance but have been all over the place so far this season. I'd love to see Poch leave them but he'd then surely go to United and make them a problem again.

He's been hugely promising and a big surprise to me. Not only is he regularly outmuscling opponents defense idly in 1v1 situations, but he's also extremely good at carrying the ball forward. Add in his fantastic recovery pace and we have the makings of a top class CB. I hope at some point we see a back 3 with all of Rüdiger, Zouma, and Tomori in it. Reece, and Emerson as wing backs. The athleticism and pace would be unreal.

Not a beautiful performance but deserved 3 points. Thank god Kepa was extremely sharp with his starting position on several instances.

Don't get me wrong, zonal marking is shit and doesn't work at the top level. But how the FUCK do teams repeatedly find the exact spot to punish us every bloody game seemingly!? Like, they pick the one area between our CB's every godamned time! Our set piece and transition defending remains our Achilles heel that we just can't shore up for some reason.

£58m and can't even get a look in. I was one of his biggest sceptics when we first bought him but certainly expected him to be given every possible opportunity to develop and get loads of games. That he can't even get a chance is hugely worrying. I mean, players who are coming off of long injuries are being considered ahead of him! What must he be doing wrong in training?

If Pulisic doesn't start this one I'm going to seriously worry about him. I think he'll start to seriously worry about himself honestly. Hes an extremely dangerous weapon that we are going to need as the season goes on. Getting his confidence up on a big European night in a must win game would be huge for him.

They get into great position, are dangerous as hell around the box, and then when the final shot needs to be taken they falter. Looks at the wide players for Liverpool and City compared to them. I haven't seen Brighton play at all yet this season so no idea what to expect. Also don't have a clue what team Frank will go with. Feels so weird still that we can put out radically different teams from game to game after years of Conte and Sarri playing the same XI every week.
