Not surprised about Estevão. I think he will initially be used like this in the PL. Impact sub until he’s fully up to the pace of the league and plenty of starts in the cups. I am however surprised about Josh as you said. Thought Tosin would actually come in for Trev.

Very interesting. I like the look of that attack. Both Delap & João Pedro pressing and harassing their defense and keeper hopefully. And Palmer out of the super congested middle where he’ll hopefully have more influence in the game.

If we don’t win after that performance last week then everyone calling us a tier below the top 3 will look absolutely justified. A lot of us are convinced that we should be right there with Arsenal, Liverpool, and City. Well if we are we don’t drop points to open the season against both Palace & West Ham who both have managers unhappy that their clubs haven’t given them anything to improve their teams in the window. Silly to say on MD2, but this is a must win to get our season started and to make sure we don’t immedietly have a gap to the contenders.

At this point we’re going to have to hope there are clubs as desperate for forwards as we are desperate to sell the, as we approach the end of the window. Because otherwise we’re going to have to take severely cut price deals for Nkunku & Jackson.

Agreed. For me it would be similar to us buying Xavi Simons and playing him on the LW. Yes, they can play out there but they’re more influential and effective centrally.

If/when we sign Garnacho & Xavi we’re already going to have a massive headache on our hands next season figuring out what to do with all of our AM’s once Quenda comes and if Paez has a nice season on loan. Hell, even this we’re going to have to loan Tyrique George bevause we have no space for him. So what would we have any use for Enciso next year at this time?

Didn’t he have a poor season where he regressed last campaign? I see to recall hearing that. The fact that the ultimate hardball club Brighton are selling him for this cheap has to raise some questions (unless his contract is running out which I don’t know).
