Love Kova. One of my favorite players to watch when he’s at his best. But I don’t blame the club if they’re hesitant at offering him a new deal with his constant injury issues. Be sad to see him sold this summer but would understand. Definitely wouldn’t want him to go to another PL club.
-
Massive blow of course and he will be missed, but with Fofana and Badiashile it shouldn’t be devastating to the team. Hell, maybe it’ll give us the chance to go back to a back 3 so James and Chilly can actually be utilized in attack. Fofana, Trev, and Badiashile is a very good back 3.

Exactly. We need a manager to come in and have some balls. Have a personality. Kick these players’ asses. Someone who will demand the highest standard like the other elite managers in this league do. Create an atmosphere where every player has to always be at their best if they want to be in the XI. We have a handful of players right now who continue to get picked when they’ve been shocking for months and months. Players in horrible form get picked match after match because there’s zero accountability and there’s no fire from the manager.

Other than thinking the players will have a mental reset in the summer knowing every team starts from scratch, I really don’t understand this idea that giving Potter another whole summer to turn things around is what the ownership wants. What will actually change? It’s not as though he isn’t getting training time currently. He has had entire weeks free multiple times. He’s had a whole World Cup break to work. The players are certainly not burnt out because we rotate more than any club in Europe AND he gives them multiple days off after some games. It’s just like they’re trying desperately to save face now. They don’t want to sack 2 managers in the same season having only been here for 1 year. They chose Potter as their man, brought in his entire structure from Brighton, and spent a massive fortune for him. They clearly feel that sacking him would be humiliating. But they need to put that thinking aside now. He’s a nice guy, a good manager for a small club, but he’s not a Chelsea manager.

Good Lord, reading Twitter you’d think United just won the Champions League in dominant fashion rather than the League Cup. My timeline has been a nonstop stream of sucking Ten Hag off since yesterday.
-
How in the hell have I woken up the next day to see Potter is still in the job? Is Boehly going to wait until we’re in real, serious danger before acting? There is still time under a new manager to salvage something from this nightmare of a season and get Europa League football next year if that’s something the ownership desires. But if we continue on with this manager nothing is going to change.

I’ve been hesitant about Enrique because his only really successful period came when he had arguably the best attack in club football history. He has never done the business outside of his Spanish comfort zone. Didn’t pull up trees at his other stops. But I’d take him for sure right now. He would at least bring some pattern and structure to our play and help get the best out of these flair players. I read some quotes from Messi saying he’s a brilliant coach. Just bring him and give him a head start in next season.
-
Seriously, what can possibly be gained by sticking with him at this point? IT. ISN’T. WORKING. See Ben Jacobs has already been briefed that he’s not being sacked after that. HOW!?
-
Get a new manager in now to lay the foundation and to start integrating his ideas for the remainder of this season. This cannot go on. The squad is full of absolute quality that’s being managed by someone in FAR over his head. We need someone wit real personality and who commands respect. Someone with an ironclad idea and style. Potter ain’t scaring any of these players or holding them accountable because they all know they’re bigger than he is. We need a ruthless man with real balls.
-
If he isn’t sacked now the owner is insulting the supporters.
-
No yellow for Romero?!
-
Remember when we played a back 3 and Reece was one of the most dangerous players in world football? He gets forward maybe 1 or 2 times per game these days. He’s almost a non-factor in attack these days.
-
Mendy saves that.
-
Not sure why people are having a go at Sterling. He is at least threatening. He and Felix are at least asking questions of the Spuds defenders. His end product has been shit but he’s repeatedly sprinting at people and trying to make shit happen. Slating our most dangerous player that half makes no sense.
-
Auba cannot be worse than Kai in this form, surely. At least he gives the Cb’s something to worry about around the box. Spuds’ 3 CB’s don’t even have to be concerned about Havertz at all because he’s not beating all of them.
-
Ziyech, RLC, and Havertz off NOW, please! Couldn’t possibly play worse than they did.
-
Commentator on American TV is former Chelsea player Greame Le Saux. He says repeatedly that it was a slap in the face and a red. Is he ducking blind?!
-
Shoves him in the shoulder and his hand slides up to the face. What a corrupt fucking joke. Fuck this shit. I’m done.
-
Ziyech is actively hurting the team. Off at halftime.
-
We started so comfortably and have now run completely out of steam. Another entire week to prepare and this is what we show…
-
Felix getting shoved and fouled nearly every time he gets it but the ref isn’t having it.
-
We pass it around the final third a hundred times without being able to create a clear chance whereas Spuds pass it a just a couple of times and rip us apart. It’s clown shit.
-
Ziyech and Kai not really in the game at all. As expected.
-
Yuck. Not feeling that team at all. Please don’t tell me Kova is injured AGAIN already after just coming back? I love him as a player but perhaps it’s time to get rid while we can still get money for him this summer. He’s too much of a liability to simply stay fit over a season.

Think about where United could be once they get their new oil money and their owners want to one-up their Abu Dhabi rivals across town at City. Despite us spending the GDP of a small country they could leave us in the dust for the foreseeable future if we don’t change managers.
