how dont we have creativity now? we got torres up ahead flanked by hazard and hulk and mata between them. what we need behind these 4 would be a solid (to the point defensive) pairing and i would trust the tried and tested of lamps and mikel than spending 40m on modric. as far as essien is concerned, he was bad last season but lets look at it this way, even after kalou and bosingwa played such a big role in the final, they were let go off because people who are dealing in transfers could see that they are more of a liability but if they are trusting in essien, it might be that they have seen things we have not. so just trust in chelsea rather than mindlessly spending on transfers. anyways if we get modric it would mean o chance for josh even in the carling cup matches so it is a complete NO.

i dont think there was just one best moment of this season. my best moments were- napoli 4-1, barca 1-0 and 2-2 and drogba penalty. also one of the best performances we put in was the 1-0 defeat against qpr with just 9 men. for me that was an incredible performance even though we dint get any thing out of the match. worst moment was undoubtedly avb's sacking. i still believe he would have been better in the long term.
