i like the teams... the 1st half is the proper 2nd string, carling cuppish team while the 2nd half is the main team.

lukaku's development cant be the PRIMARY concern of the club. with rooney we become the favourites to win the PL, put a challenge for CL.

one good season does not mean he is as good as rooney. have we not learned anything from BA. he was phenomenol in newcastle but has barely been good for us. yilmaz will be a similar signing...

i think people need to get back to reality from all the fifa and FM. we have adopted a brilliant strategy to acquire rooney with mou openly speaking about in public and then even cech saying things about him. there is no way we could have got rooney if we simply had put in a deal. united would always have wanted a little more for him and in the end we would have had to pay OTT. but now that our interest is so obvious it is for rooney to decide what to do. he can force moyes' hand for the transfer which would save us many millions. also people are talking about falcao and cavani and blaming the board for it but paying 51 mil and 60 mil for these guys would have been insane and we did the right thing in not taking the easy way out. also even if we dont get rooney, PL is still very much up for grabs, its not a lost cause.

honestly speaking i feel torres is as good as higuain, which means they both suck equally bad. atleast torres used to be world class but in no way can any1 justify 35mil for higuain. that is just bad business. also he exactly NOT what we NEED right now, in my opinion. we need some1 like rooney or even zlatan (absolute last resort). we need some1 who can be an aerial threat, a game changer, some1 who can take long shots and some1 who can soak the pressure. for me higuain has none of these qualities. i have seen him play in RM games and a bit for argentina and simply cant see how he is an upgrade from our current strike force or what exactly he brings to the table. also its so weird that a brazilian likes an argentinian footballer so much, whats up?

so if we sign higuain we ll probably sell BA. that means our strike force will be lukaku, torres and torres-2. better than signing higuain, we could just sell mata and hazard and close the damn shop.

a couple of bad passes = ramires had a bad match a couple of bad passes = mvg started nervously but grew into the match. i mean why do we give ramires so much stick. he ran the whole bloody game and it was just a pre-season friendly. put in some good tackles. made some rambo-runs all thru the match. perfect rambo performance.

i seriously doubt he was ever a target for us. it is/was more of wishful thinking than any other thing that has DDR a transfer target for us.
