nice freekick RYAN!!! fucking brilliant floating ball. this team is definitely working on set-pieces... that one thing is for SURE. BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE. NO COMPLAINTS.
-
well the original post was for people who were "saying" things. so i ll let u off the hook.
-
he scored, put in 3-4 awesome balls to hazard and moses on the flank. good hold up play too. he might have started slowly but considering the poor pitch and the fact that the guy must not have eaten the whole day, i would say he has done well.
-
just seen him play once and that was against spain in con-fed. lost 3-0 but feel he did play real good. well lets hope he do the same for us.
-
thats the reason why u should not say things prematurely.
-
so who all was rambo n ba annoying? raise your hands!!!
-
how? it might be very premature and one pre-season match is no yard-stick, but i have already seen chalobah do all that mikel does, plus he just showed he has a better shot too. . mikel might be a better dm because of his physicality and understanding but distribution-wise, i feel chalobah matches him.
-
i just hope no one twist there ankle on this pitch.please keep essien locked away.
-
fuck man!!! chalobah's distribution is way better than mikel's.
-
it had to be 4-3-3 today. what is the point of playing 4-2-3-1 when all our 3 cams are unavailable today.
-
frank, kdb, schurlle wont play today.
-
any links???
-
with no kdb, oscar, mata and even schurlle seems injured, i would love if josh plays in the cam role.
-
oscar<kroos but oscar's potential>>>> kroos' potential. cole has lost a bit of his pace plus alaba gives a lot more to a team in attack. also even though the dante-badstubber partnership is yet to come true but one can imagine bayern conceding even lesser amount of goals than last season. perfect.
-
arsenal+suarez = the perfect thing to hate.

nice post. agree with a lot of things that you said. our board definitely has gone a little overboard in its signing of "youth players" rather even TRY to promote one or 2. DDR would definitely have made us an PL winner, (i have big reservations about gustavo) and you have to wonder if buying mvg for 8mil and stuffing the midfield (we already had rambo, essien, mikel, lamps) was a wise decision. but i have to differ with you on one thing. the rooney signing. i feel its a brilliant move by the club. if you compare the players of our club with bayern's , i feel at this moment they beat us in a player to player comparision for almost every player, except for probably mata, hazard and arguably cech. they definitely have a better defence and defenders. they probably have the best pivot partnership in the world, and a trio of ribery-kroos/muller-robben would be equal to or better than MAZACAR. so my point is we DO need an X-factor. someone who can change the match on its head in a bloody moment. some1 DD-ish and rooney does fit the bill. i seriously doubt if lukaku-ba-torres would be a match winner in a semi-final against bayern/barca/real. i feel the problem here is not rooney but torres (everything bad comes down to that guy). the torres has signing screwed us at so many different levels that its hard to explain. the fans are scared of any big-money striker signing and we cringe even at the mention of it. ps - dont insult mandzukic by comparing the guy to torres. he had 33 starts + 6 sub appearances for his 21 goals compared to torres who had 51 starts + 13 sub appearances for his 22 goals.

city dint spend anything in the last transfer window. their total spending for the last year was about 13 mil (they sold johnson(12m), balo (20m), de jong(3m)etc). this year so far they have done a business of 72mil. grand total for the past 2 years is about 85mil. we on the other hand spent 65mil last year, and 23 mil this year. which makes our grand total to 88mil. also we are yet to finish our business in transfer market (i would say, we would buy rooney for 30mil and sell BA for 10, so thats 20mil more) where as city seems to have gathered a good squad which i seriously doubt they ll be changing anymore. so we do have a lot of problems when it comes to FFP. we had earned that small profit only because we won the CL in 2011-12. the fact that we were playing post-season friendlies after a season of almost 70 matches should tell you how desperately short we would be when it comes to FFP. also the out of the blue roma friendly.

the possibilities are mind-boggling... but all we have to do is trust JOSE.
-
how would a loan spell help him? the last 2 definitely did not. more over the point of having a squad is to play a particular 11 which is best suited to win a match and succeed... if we can win matches by playing josh against sucky opponents, i would take that rather than see his talent being wasted in the championship.
-
mata maybe but i would say he is on the same level as oscar.
-
exactly!!!
-
we have to give him a chance. he was really good since he came on. 25 minutes is no yard stick but still, give the guy a chance.
-
juan and only???
-
who the hell is this traore guy? is he even our youth player? i mean when did we sign him? i read somewhere that we have taken him on this tour on a test run or something. but a nice player. piazon - is average at best. weird that jose is playing him thru the center because the guy looks absolutely lost. even on the wings (united carling cup), he was no good. definitely no place in the squad this year. josh - i believe if mvg is ready then so is josh. i mean he did more in 25 odd minutes than mvg/rambo/essien could do in their time on the pitch. he should get some playing time in the squad. today his performance showed that he thrives on the players around him. the chip pass to moses, the thru ball to moses and some great distribution were down to both the good runs being made off the ball and his own talent. another loan spell would be a waste. i would prefer him to stay here and be given playing time in coc n fa and some dead rubbers. schurrle and moses- love their workrate and runs off the ball. but these guys are too one-footed, especially schurlle. i mean even to pass the ball he sometimes brought the ball to his right foot and then passed it. lukaku- to go into the season with him as our no.1 striker and even expecting to win the PL would probably be too much. but he may still suprise us. he has his strengths and his weaknesses, just hope jose works the kinks out. hazard - looked weird. well who cares... he ll be back. kdb - TALENT. its just 2 matches but he is definitely as good or even better than oscar (i ll go with the latter). definitely more versatile than oscar. also if jose continues to play mata in the center of the 3, and if the option is between oscar and kdb to play on the wing, i ll definitely go with kdb. ba - tries hard but just does not have the x-factor. a couple of great shots but a couple of horrendous passes on to the wingers/fullbacks to lay off, specially one to cole. kalas - seemed to be high on something with his back-passing.also should have got his head to the free-kick which we conceded to. chalobah- good performance. not much to do. wallace - again its just on 2 matches, but defintely more ready than kalas. his crossing, over-laps and speed are wonderful. essien - is he really back??? he ran around all the time. won the ball a number of times. one really great block. good distribution. mvg- dint see him in the 1st half but some good passes in the 2nd. cole - how does he always make those off the line clearances. brilliant.
-
get in lukaku!!!! get in!!! so where are all the lukaku haters??? come on KRAKEN...
