some of the posters are unbelievably imbecile in thinking that a young squad means - 25 players below the age of 23. this is reality not fifa/fm. get over it. zlatan/ shrek (as i hear people calling him) would make us stronger, a team that can challenge for CL and should win PL. zlatan/shrek are way better than the strikers we have now and if we can get them plus offload torres and/or BA, it would be the perfect thing for chelsea.

i would put WINNING TROPHIES, way before any of the things mentioned above. zlatan is still a classy striker and heads and shoulders above any of the 3 we have currently. lukaku is good but still raw and maybe in 2/3/4 years' time, he ll get there, but among the current options i would say zlatan is the best because cavani is way too expensive, rooney would definitely be sold to us at an OTT price and lewa does not wanna come here.

if he goes to psg, we should definitely get zlatan.

never seen him play so i will reserve my judgement about him. but as far as the board goes, this is a stupid move considering the type of youth players we already have. chalobah, ake, josh, romeu, kdb and not to forget even OSCAR. what we needed right now was a world class DM who good be head and shoulders above most people on the football field. de rossi would have been IDEAL. so in my opinion not a very good use of 8 mil (thats what i heard) as it does not solve any problems that we currently have.

i think performance should be the sole criteria to judge how valuable a player is. i think that is the only reason mata won our player of the season 2 times in 2 years whereas torres is ridiculed by his own set of fans. i was not putting words into any1's mouth. but when u hear some1 saying that mata "is worshipped because of his trophy collection." , u do start to wonder who exactly thinks that.
