  1. 21 year old GK, already would make the top 10-15 TOP gks in the world list. now lets see the GKs we have at the moment 31 year old World Class keeper (the best at the moment) 40 year old on a one year contract 37 year old on a one year contract for the reason which is beyond the understanding of any1. simply does not make any sense at all to sell a prospect of thibaut's quality when we dont have a long term replacement, does it?
  2. courtois WILL NOT BE SOLD. that is a definite.
  3. and only u are thinking that we will sel courtois, have not heard any1 here even speak of it. u come here, get between a very civilsed argument and then act as a victim saying wish u had not logged in, simply does not make sense. next time dont reply if u dont wanna argue.
  4. makes sense. also i think this is the most PROBABLE solution for the next season. for the next season, the scenarios are (in decreasing order of probability) 1. cech no.1, thibaut on loan 2. cech no.1, thibaut no.2 3. thibaut no.1 , cech sold. but on a personal level,i would want the no.2 to happen.
  5. did i say that ever? what do you read? your own version of any1's post. read all my posts again. read the one with what alex wrote about cech being better than courtois and my reply to it. courtois might be ready to be the no.1 GK but we already have THE WORLD'S BEST GK PLAYING FOR US. u dont discard that. if cech goes next season, he would go to a direct competitor like barca or in the worst case united/arsenal. plus we would be playing with a yet untested GK at the highest of the highest levels. i have already given my answer to "when do we go to courtois" and an ideal scenario of how to break courtois into the team and i doubt i can be any clear about it. infact anyone who thinks that courtois is going to be our no.1 GK next season is going to be in for a big suprise.
  6. de gea had 84 appearances for ATM in 2 seasons before coming to manchester united. atm is the same team courtois is playing for at the moment and the hype surrounding each seems to be the same. in 2011-12 his flipping flopping the ball cost united a number of points. and in the end united lost the league of GOAL DIFFERENCE. the most ideal thing for the club is to do what is right for the club not one player. only the future can not be taken into consideration but the present matters too. next year CHELSEA will not only be competing for the PL but without a doubt we will be the heads on favourite to win the thing, so every point does matter and undue risk should be and without a doubt will be avoided.
  7. that is the main point. look at de gea. he was supposed to be a beast when united bought him but his first season or rather the first half of the season was laughable. courtouis is 21 right now. i dont see any reason why playing 20 games in a season as a no.2 GK for chelsea will a step backward in his development. infact he will be breaking into the team steadily, will have more time to adjust, less pressure to deal with. there is no need to be hasty with the courtouis issue. time IS on his side. but as i said before, the decision will be his. but i am thinking what would be the most ideal thing for the club.
  8. i am sure mourinho and the board would not just drop cech to the bench or sell him after such world class performances match after match. the decision will be upto thibaut to be no.2 for a season for one of the biggest clubs in europe so as to get some playing experience in PL, getting settled, get acclimatized and from then on be the no.1 GK of chelsea for a very very long time.
  9. no one is disagreeing with that. as i said, he ll have to be the no.2 keeper at chelsea for one year (2014-15). cech has a contract till 2016. in that summer, with a year left on his contract, he can be sold (hurts just to say that), or whatever decision has to be taken can be taken. spot on. i feel both of them will be here next season and then adios cech.
  10. cech is the best GK in the world as of this moment. we cant just chuck him out to fenebrache, galatasaray or Trabzonspor. as choulo said, thibaut will have to be the one who ll have to sacrifice first team football for a year, play fa, carling , ucl group stage games and then steadily be made the first GK.
  11. 40m for matic??? blah... rather 40mil for witsel/20mil for bender.
  12. first things first - the quality has gone down? - BULLSHIT. if anything the quality is better than before and i have been here for almost 2.5 years now. yes, the quantity has increased, and the number of people has exponentially increased, and when that happens, things do get a little weird. everyone has different opinions, likes different things and dislike others. questions will be raised about an opinion and things do get heated up. but just because people debate, fight, and argue over different matters, u cant say the quality has gone down. i mean look at the information we get about everything related to chelsea now-a-days. 99.99% of the information i get about chelsea is through the forum, be it player updates, injuries, youth , transfer etc etc. as for the ongoing debate - i like what stingray posts, memes and gifs included. there is some absolute quality in those posts plus the humor quotient is awesome. the original point that kojo made was really good. some posters do get neglected. for eg- ja1. i mean his information on our youth, loanees, reserves is so extensive that sometimes i feel he is viveash himself. and hence the poll. but right now this thread has become about one argument/ego clash than anything else.
  13. etoo, hazard and oscar out??? what are the durations of their injuries???
  14. we just played 2 matches against the champions of europe and the champions of england, with solely the tactic of letting our wingers run at the defenders and try and cut them apart.
  15. etoo injured??? read he came off for cameroon due to injury... any news?
  16. what are you saying? look at united. they have strikers - rooney, rvp, welbeck, chicharito. wingers/ams- giggs, nani, young, valencia, kagawa, zaha that IS 10 PLAYERS FOR 4 ATTACKING POSITIONS. city have strikers - dzeko, aguero, negredo, jovetic wingers/ams- silva, nasri, navas, milner. that is 8 players for 4 positions. its no suprise that the most successful teams in europe have the BIGGEST OF SQUADS. look at real, bayern, united, city, barca... players are needed. the stats u showed were only for PL, squad strength is not just for PL but mostly for domestic cup games and that is what is important. in the madrid stat that i showed u, exactly how many appearances each of the madrid player had made. it gave a clear indication of the immense use of squad players. plus we have 6 attacking mid for 3 positions. jose has already shown that he simply wont be putting the same team over and over again. he will be changing our tactics per opposition and he will be playing players as per requirement. in short i simply dont get your argument. every "big" team be it united, real, city, bayern etc have a big squad with equal or in some cases (like united) more players than us. over a course of a season which is 60 matches (not 38 matches) every player will get ample amount of time to play.
  17. i think we are trying to make him eligible as a club trained player due to UCL regulations. same with ake. i think thats good.
