  1. fair enough. so "one of the best, if not the best manager of the world" would suffice?
  2. that honestly was not aimed at you. it was aimed at the likes of mr.blueguy and posters of that kind who DID ask for jose to be sacked and replaced with the said options of simeone, klopp or pele
  3. WWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
  4. i hope the people who wanted us to replace jose with simeone and pele are back to the right minds after tonight. i know people were hurt after the PSG performance but asking for jose to be sacked was the lowest of lows. despite some of his flaws, he is still the best manager in the world. and that is a FACT!
  5. and another 0-0 away draw in a game that ATM hardly had any chances. should we call ATM right now and get simeone the great ? (i respect simeone for what he did with ATM but expecting him to replace jose.. )
  6. Mancinic and jose had lost the dressing room. That was the main difference betwren them and their successors. A manager can't do anything with a bunch of players who don't want to play for him. The other reason of why a manager is better than another is by how he uses his resourcrs, how hr develops his players and squad and continously improves the team. Jose has done each and everyone of those things compared to pele who has not done any of them. Last season, city could have appointed pele or ian holloway or sean dykes, they should still have won the leagur. Their squad was heads and shoulders above the rest. This season they have capitulated. ,
  7. hahhahahahahahhaah. Sure dude. Havinf opinions is good. But having an opiniom which is along the lines of saying that turnbull is better than neuer is... Better my rose tinted glasses than your stupid ones.
  8. When was the last time chelsea had won the PL before jose took over? When was the last time city won the PL before pele took over. Also, I think I made it clear that most of them we're jose buys. Out of the 8 namrs I gave, 5 we're josr buys in thr chelsea tenure. In inter, u havr got to be kidding me. Thats all I can say. Motaa etoo, lucio, sniejder, milito all we're bought in 2009 and were his main players. If that does not definr chaging the core of the team, nothing does. Lets look at the city team currently aguero, dzeko, silva, nasri, yaya fernandinho/fernando, kolarov, kompany, demi/mangala, zaba, hart. Out of 11 players, just 2 of the positions were players who were not set in pele's team and the rest 2 are probably their weakest link (a DM and a CB). that's the extent of the work that pele has done compared to the ones josr did with his teams.
  9. Dude, yiu are the only one who supposedly thinks josr has done a poor job in transfers. The amount of people ridiculing u should be proof enough. Takr my advoce and stop the embarassment. I still can't stop laughing at the main point of your argument - negatives outweigh the positives. But please do to tell me how does that explain our immense improvement from barely qualifying for CL to 5 points with a game hand position. There are pundits like neville who are fair. Hear and read what pundits like neville said. That would give u a good idea.
  10. U right dude. Everyone else is an idiot. The pundits who were singing praises of our transfers, every fan who is happy with our transfer. I mean how can the positive putweigh the negatives when only the majority of our signings have been great. I am sure pur transfer fiasco is the reason that we have improved so much over the course of less than 2 years. I can't continue to argue with someone whose basis of the argument is sp completely and totally flawed. I mean u can argue abiut who is a better attack messi or CR. BUT u can't argue with someone who thinks ben arfa is better than messi. And believe me, saying jose's transfer dealings have been bad and that the positives supposedly get putweighed by the negatives is along that line of thought. Ps - does that make costa's transfer fee as 40, cesc - 40, zouma -20, matic -30 etc etc..
  11. lets take into account the spine of jose teams at his tenures.when I talk about jose at chelsea, the names that come to fore are DD, ESSIEN, ROBBEN, CECH, carvalho, , makelele, jt and frank. How many were jose bought? Inter is a joke if yiu think anyone but jose was responsiblr. Motta, milito, etoo, lucio, sneijder. The spine of the 09-10 team was bought and made by jose. Now lets compare it to pele's city - kompany, silva , aguero, yaya etc etc.. none of them. To even compare these 2 scenarios is wrong and I don't know how you can't distinguish between these things. Ps - I never mentioned RM in my post. But expect for RM, each of jose's team has been "his" teams to the core.
  12. WHAT???? jose got readymade teams? In which universe? He got a readymade team in porto? I'm his first stint at chelsea? At inter? In his second stint at chelsea? Dude, I don't know if I understood what u wrote corectly but to say jose got readymade teams is well LOL
  13. 7mil in a figure of 43mil. Brilliant estimate. I hope u are not an accountant. You do understand that when Jose came we lacked a proper starting 11. His signings have been the spine of the team. Cesc, matic, costa, willian, in the near future zouma.. each and every one is essential to the team and biught by jose. The supposed flops like juan (lol, one and a half month and already ), salah were squad buys and bought to replace squad players. No one can get every signing right. But each and evry ome of our major signing has been PERFECT. And that's the reason why we are 5 points ahead with a game in hand xompared to qualifying for a CL spot on the last day of the season, 2 years ago
  14. no. But people do think that jose is the one who chose whom to buy or sell
  15. First things first, lets learn to add.Juan - 27 mil Luis - 16mil 27+16=43. Surprising? U can use a calculator to verify. Juan may or may noy replace willian, his job was to replace schurrle. If he proves to be an upgrade to schurrle, he will be a success. Luis was taken as a back up. 16mil for one of the best LBs of the last season. Not a bad transfer is it? You can argue about his role, but a lot of players take one season to settle down. Judge him next season. So like I said before, you are full of salah.
  16. cuadrado is already a bad transfer? KDB is not a bad transfer dealing. he was woeful for us and that point of time, it was the perfect thing. we have a perfectly settled back 4. we have the best LB in the PL in azpi. that does not mean that luis is a bas signing. so as i see this, you are just full of salah (i mean crap).
  17. lets talk about jose's transfer dealings, should we? got us a player that we had sold and has made him one of the best DMs currently - matic next is costa. who was supposedly a straight forward buy. yet a lot of people wanted rooney (PL proven), falcao (available), mandzukic (available at a lower proce), cavani (rumored to be looking to move away) etc etc.. straightforward indeed. then is cesc. ex-captain of one of our biggest rivals. and by cesc's own admission, jose was one of the main reasons for him to come here. zouma - one of the best young defenders in the world for one-fourth of the price of the defender he was taking place of. luiz, mata and lukaku.. all positives... willian - average buy... so you are basically ceibbing about salah. fair enough!!!
  18. Dude, how many times do people counter your same argument. Look at the quality of teams both these managers inherited. We were playing in europa. Getting our asses kickes by benfica and rubin kazan. Jose got a team with no identity and a happhazard grpup of players, either too old or too young compared to pele whose most playees were in the prime. city have regressed massively while we developed. city should have walked the league last season when you compare their squads with the others. yet they needed a massive massive massive favor from us. also, please tell me what is this supposed great futbol. pelegrini is probably the only manager who got outclassed by the specialist in failure, they were lucky to win against a 10 man united at home, they got butt fucked by pool.
  19. hahahhahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahaha... matic, cesc, costa!!!! Oh god.. of all the arguments I have read in the last 2 dates, this one just is just heads and shoulders above all else.
  20. I think his status went from "wanted" to NEEDED. We need strength in depth. Except for our starting 11 plus a couple other players, we simply don't have any quality
  21. courtois azpi zouma JT luis matic zouma willian oscar hazard remy dont want another debacle where cesc gets overrun. oscar was good in the 45 minutes that he played. deserves a start. remy has been very good every chance he has got and he deserves a start. costa has been that poor.
  22. how? i think the starting team was what i would have played except for zouma for cahill but thats a 50-50. we started well, zlatan got a red and suddenly we looked clueless as to what to do? then after HT, we came out with changed tactics. we were playing 4-1-4-1 with rambo and cesc trying to curb veratti and motta (very unsuccessful). also, pastore owned matic last night. our whole midfield got over-run by a man down PSG, not cos of tactics but cos of the players who could not care to give a fuck. i honestly cant see what cesc or rambo or hazard were done or had done in the 2nd half. i just dont see what jose got wrong yesterday? we did not lose cos jose got the tactics wrong. we lost cos PSG showed a lot more character than we did. we beat this same psg team with a lot worse team. difference - spirit, character, defiance, and BALLS!!! last night, the players lacked each of those things.
  23. credit where its due. RM have done that and they have done it very well. you have to take into account selling their best player of last season (ADM) to buy james. if they had not sold ADM, they would not have been in this current mess. similarly we sold the likes of KDB, to get the players we wanted, why should that be neglected? why should the sale of luiz be neglected who would have been far better for this current system than GC!!! net spend is the correct way to look at things. bvb have a greater net spend than us, and city have a triple net spend than us for the same area despite the fact that pelegrini acquired a squad which was already winning titles compared to ours which was a mess.
  24. i loved it when neville said last night "chelsea players chose to walk during the match, now they will be walking out of the competition". summed us up last night.
  25. what budget? are u kidding me? we have a net spend of 42mil pounds in the last 2 years under jose (thorgan not included). bvb have a net spend of 66.7 mil euros. now just tell me what percentage of ATM's goals this season have been thru open plays and set pieces. whenever i have watched atm this season, they hav been woeful (except against RM) and generally have had to rely on the set piece dominance. whats worse is simeone and jose are very much alike in their approach to the game. i saw both of ATM's latest games against valencia and sevilla and anyone who is complaining about jose being negative would not even have mentioned simeone as a replacement. classic case of people just wanting something different even if its no where near as good. ps - compared to us city have had a net spend of 125mil pounds. almost thrice our sum. city had a proper set team compared to ours which was in transition. well, comparing jose and pelegrini is one of the worst things u can do here.
