TROLOLOL... you do know that the most accurate and detailed and his highness the whoscored.com does not even take into consideration the carling cup or the copa del stats!!!
-
exactly. makes sense to continue our "sustainable" transfer proceeding outs oscar - 25mil thorgan - 6mil cech - 10mil mikel, moses, marin, kakuta, piazon - 15mil (atleast) total = 55-60mil ins pogba - 50-60mil second GK - 5mil if we buy varane, that would mean we will be selling GC.
-
what stats are these? daily mail stats? oscar - 7 goals, 8 assists- 2375 minutes- 158.33 minutes http://www.transfermarkt.com/oscar/profil/spieler/85314 gotze - 13 goals, 5 assists - 2031 - 112.33 http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mario-gotze/profil/spieler/74842 cesc - 4 goals, 20 assists - 2866 - 120 http://www.transfermarkt.com/cesc-fabregas/profil/spieler/8806 muller - 13 goals, 12 assists - 2210 - 88.4 http://www.transfermarkt.com/thomas-muller/profil/spieler/58358 isco - 5goals, 13 assists - 2618 - 145.44 http://www.transfermarkt.com/isco/profil/spieler/85288 (playing a large chunk of the season in a two man pivot along with kroos). so you see its not even close. if it was i would have given him the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately, he is LIGHT YEARS behind these players be it in stats or in general play.
-
i dont want him to do a messi or a CR. i will be happy if he did an isco or a muller or a gotze. i will be happy if he can go through a match not misplacing a simple 5 yard pass. are you having problem comprhending what i have been saying. yes, players will have a barren spell. every player in the world will, but the barren spell or a poor spell is not the only spell they have had like oscar's. its not stupid to compare cesc's stats playing as a DLP and oscar's stats playing as a CAM to show that oscar has been light years behind him in goals/assists column. thats just to show how far behind oscar is compared to the rest. i was not going to until you brought up some of the worst arguments in oscar's support (and believe me there have been many). comparing his season long inconsistecy to an off day by the 4 of the best players in the squad, blaming jose for not starting him when he has had about 2400 minutes to play all season long etc etc.
-
all other no.10s in england. is that an elite bunch? PL has been screwed over and over and over again in europe in the past 3/4 seasons. you want CFC players to have that standard. how many off days has matic had? how many has hazard had? case in point cesc - 4 goals, 20 assists - 2866 minutes - 120 minutes/goalosassist costa - 17 goals, 3 assists - 2412 minutes - 120 minutes/goal or assist hazard - 13 goals, 13 assists - 3236 minutes - 125 minutes/goal or assist. even in stats these players are much better than oscar. and by the way, YOU dont care about performances, most of us do. a player can not score a goal/assist and still be a massive asset to the team - costa against liverpool carling cup semi, where he made a complete nuisance of himself throughout the match and kept their defence busy. on the other hand, some of oscar's performances this season have been painful to watch (to say the least). he has not just had a couple of off days like the players you mentioned above but he has had an off season for me and thats the difference
-
no he is not. it only counts when you trip over your own foot. challenges from other players is not a massive part of football, is it?
-
mark was not a failure. his performance against liverpool itself was more than enough to make him a success
-
2375 minutes for 15 goals/assists at about 160 minutes for a goal/assist is not a return that we should be bragging about. he was supposed to be our no.1 no.10 and his return is good at best. and if you consider his "PERFORMANCES" and his ability to not be able to hold the ball under any pressure + his ability to misplace a 5 yard pass with an accuracy which makes ramires proud of + his inconsistency, it makes for a massive argument against him. really? comparing oscar with matic/hazard/cesc/costa. our 4 best players of this season. and then you ask why some of us are so hard on oscar. i am not even going to waste my time trying to measure up oscar to any of them. ONE BAD GAME!!!!! hahahahhaha... i am out. this is just not worth it. i was better when spending my time in players' thread who were actually doing something which was benifitting us. ps - give me a single post of mine saying coutinho is better.
-
i swore to myself that i would not write in this thread until the end of season (and i have not for some matches). but dude, this is just wrong. what exactly do you expect jose to do? put oscar and salah's private form and troubles first and foremost before the whole team. if oscar is not playing regularly (RIGHT NOW), its cos we have had a line of "big" games and he simply does not cut it to be in our first 11. end of. i dont understand why jose would not play him against spurs if he was good enough to start a match of that pressure for us. also, how can you say he has not got minutes. oscar has played a total of 2375 minutes (http://www.transfermarkt.com/oscar/profil/spieler/85314), which is a LOT. simple conclusion, he has not been good enough.or at the least, please dont argue with lack of gametime that is just not true.

http://in.reuters.com/finance/stocks/FCPP.LS/key-developments/article/3047323 about 42mil pounds.
-
you seem surprised? the state of football is pathetic here. infact the state of any sport that is not cricket is pathetic here. imagine rafa winning the french open last year but the newspapers running with the headline of graeme smith being confident of a win (with 2 lines informing us that rafa did indeed win the french open).
-
WARRIOR. such a character. i was remembering the zhirkov incident when something similar happened to him against bolton (not sure)? you need characters like these to win trophies.
-
do we actually need varane. zouma has looked every bit a future world class player. varane on the other hand has looked lost with RM's midfield being poor defensively against any half decent team. the problem is if we indeed buy varane, zouma will be the one sitting out. JT is still showing that he has not missed a step. zouma's performances deserve him a starting role next season.
-
what? our you serious? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2975528/John-Terry-posts-Instagram-photo-two-children-asleep-Capital-One-Cup.html what a vile vile human being!!!! hope they burn his head in a ditch (supernatural style).
-
tough game. need to take advantage of city's slip. courtois iva zouma JT azpi rambo cesc cuadrado willian hazard costa.
-
So you are telling me that you would have been more entertained if chelsea had attacked rather than won the natch. That fans would be happier to watch a gung-ho performance by their club even if it means getting our asses kicked. A club's first and foremost and prinary duty is to win. And that's what we did. Using terms like "parking the bus" when we had almost the same number of shots and better attacks and oppurtunities is idiotic to say the least. We used zouma to counter their most potent threat (eriksen) who destroyed us the last time. Thats called being tactically aware and adapting to a situation. If you can't understand that, I can't really help you. So cointer attacking football is a small team tactic now? Was real madrid a small team last season when they used the same tactic against bayern? Does that nake them a stoke or their CL win any lesser? Also, please tell me whats the point of having a manager for the team if the tactics used in a league game and cup final are supposed to be the same. Why pay jose more than 10mil pounds a year? Why not just let the plauers decide what they want to do. I mean, we got trashed by spurs, absolutely battered, then we come in, tinker a bit woth our tactics which help us win a silverware, and suddenly that's disgraceful??? I just feel people want to crib and moan for any or whatever reason. I am done with such kind of "fans". Can't be arsed to not enjoy a cup final victory as well as city losing and getting us one more step closer to the PL.
-
wwoooowww... footballing knowledge 0 (to sum it up). so playing in a way that negates the opposition team's total attack is simply "parking the bus". un-fucking-imaginable. how can some people be so naive is beyond me.
-
that too.
-
why does not he get the credit to be awesome defensively when he plays so awesome but he gets ridiculed week in and week out when its obvious that its the tactics that makes our right hand side circumspect.
-
double is done. CL has a lot to do with the draws. hopefully RM draw ATM for the next round while bayern and barca play each other.
-
seems like some of the big mouths are getting it today, are not they? whats even more surprising is that all of these "fans" are not here right now to praise our manager on tactically winning the battle. surprise, surprise.
-
@alex, choulo, jason, steve, jim, spike.. any of you guys want to take this up please.
-
OH CAPTAIN!!!! can anyone photoshop JT as captian CHELSEA with a shield in his hand... damn i love him!!!!!!!!
-
please continue this performance till the end of the season. what a game!!!
-
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! COME ON!!! 1 night, 2 trophies.absolutely on 7 th heaven. totally deserved it. cech - nothing much to do. even the freekick that hit the bar, he had it covered. iva- people who say, he is not good at defending need to get their heads tested. it is the way we play and most importantly, how we use him that makes him circumspect. brilliant game. GC- solid. a couple of brilliant challenges. was definitely up for the game. hope he regains his form. JT - CLL. CAPTAIN, LEADER, LEGEND. just amazing. what a game. defensively he was a wall. that tackle towards the end of the match.. orgasmic. his goal changed the whole game. just amazing. bring on the contract. azpi - bloody machine. an absolute robot this guy. brilliant character. thats how you win trophies. zouma - good game. did not try and do much on the ball. his role was defined. kept eriksen in his pocket on day long. he is not luiz in mid and i dont ever want to see him play there again, but awesome performance. cesc - so disappointing. very poor the whole match. got an assist but not good enough rambo - ran, ran and then ran some more. some of his passes were good too. that outside of the foot ball to costa was brilliant, that 1-2s with costa could have been a goal had costa played a good ball. a 3 man mid suits him so much rather than a 2 man pivot hazard- disappointing. walker had the measure of him. couple of good runs and tries but i think he tried to do too much alone. willian - decent game. defensively he worked his ass off. could have played a couple of key balls but dilly-dallied and the moment passed. those moments are which can decide a big match like this. costa- plays on the edge, too isolated but led the line well and got a goal (did he?). held the ball well today and seemed to be up for the match, something which you could not have said for his last 2 games. jose - did what he does best. people who were waiting for us to lose so that they can blame jose's selection, can go and die a slow and painful fucking death (you know who you are fucking cunts). we won, so up your fucking asses, assholes. what did you want, a pivot of rambo and cesc? we would have been destroyed. fucking keyboard managers trying to be over smart. COME ON CHELSEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
